25 years ago, last year of college.
I get handed a mic and started singing in-front of the WHOLE SCHOOL. Embarrassing, right?.
Well yes it was.
It was for this school talent show basically a concert, and I had the choices to sing:
-Impossible by James Arthur
-Godspeed by James Blake
-livin' on a prayer by Bon Jovi
-another love by Tom Odell
So I had decided another love by Tom Odell!!
I was excited but also nervous, but I kept cool and kept breathing in and out, "woah, come on Abi you can do this"I said . I took a peak around the curtain to find my friends and I found them, and that new boy.be cause my best friend is dating him, yes I know that's bad, but I think he likes me too as he keeps winking and smiling at me. Anyways carry on back to the show.
Ms. Carter then speaks up. "Next we have is abi Taylor!". I had sweat drenching from my face
At a constant , so the teacher came up to and said "go on your going to do well!". I nodded my head and smiled.
I walked on stage wearing heels that made a loud echoey noise, the flashlight shined at me being bearable to see.
The judges looked at me I was a nervous reck, and the whole school were watching and I could hear voices that they were muttering.
Laughing and giggling.
I was going to run back off but I thought to myself I couldn't do that.
