Chapter 3 : Voight household sneak peak

  Somewhere in Chicago,2021,7:00 a.m

    Hank was sitting in the living room drinking his coffee and reading the news article on his phone. He was enjoying this peacefu- footsteps could be heard and a half-asleep Erin appeared from the hallway.

"Good morning Hank." Yawned Erin. "Good morning Erin, have a good sleep?" Hank replied. "Yeah, do you know where's the creamer?" Erin said while making her morning coffee (the living room and kitchenare conjoined). Before Hank could reply Kim cam into the room.

"Morning" she said groggily. She wasn't exactly a morning person. "Morning Kim." Hank and Erin replied. "Oh and to answer your question Erin, I accidentally used all of it yesterday, sorry." Kim said. "It's fine, I'll just drink it black, plus I've done that plenty of times." Replied Erin.

They continued talking for about 30 - 45 minutes until Natalie woke and came into the room. She was always last to wake up for some reason and considerably later too, but I guess that's why she was always the energetic of the group.

"Good morning!" Natalie said. She got "Good morning's" and went to make her tea, that was another thing she liked tea better than coffee.

They talked for a while before Hank and Erin had to get ready for work. Erin worked at a cafe while Hank worked as a sergeant for the CPD. Kim and Natalie worked from home being clothes designers.

I know this is shorter and I haven't written in 4 days but I didn't really know how to begin this chapter or how to really introduce the Voight household so this was kinda forced, I'm really sorry about that. After this comes the Platt household then the story actually begins. I might remake Introduction since I hate the first one, I didn't really have a plan and it was a decision of the moment to write this book so yeah. Have a great day! Stay happy and healthy!
