Chapter 41

The filming of the pool scene sure was taking more than you had imagined however you sure were enjoying the fighting that the two actors were engaged with, now inside the waters.

From the distance you were, it was not possible to see much of what was going on underwater but the fact that they were keeping their breaths for quite an impressive time, left you thinking highly of them. The expression of the director sure seemed pleasing so far and with each cut that had happened to give time to the actors to take breathing, the two men looked more and more hardworking to you for sure pulling such things off was not easy.

If you were to have been in a similar situation and you were asked to film such a scene, you would have bailed out of it without a second thought but yet again that was expected of you because you were not like them. The thought made you feel slightly uneasy as finding yourself anywhere too close to that mass of water was sure not gonna end up well for you.

You took a deep breath in as you took one more step away, trying to reassure yourself and get you back to the state you were prior that thought got to your mind yet it proved a bit harder to shake away than it was before that you had not even thought of it.

No need to think of it. I have no reason to get close to that.

You encouraged yourself and intentionally moved your sight towards Jungkook's manager who to your displeasure had not done anything out of the ordinary so far. All he has done was stay at his place observing and replying to some sporadic phone calls here and there. It almost made you think that you were wasting your time till you saw the woman that was standing on the top floor, throwing something towards him and getting his attention. 

He looked at her with a hint of frustration for a moment till she lowered her glasses and mouthed at him something you didn't quite understand but you guessed it to be something along the lines of 'pick up your damn phone' since she literally pointed at her device while pretending that she would throw it at him.

Mr DuHo proceeded to get on his phone after that, looking around himself in a rather suspicious manner that made you think that he obviously did not want any eyes on him and the woman in the sunbed spoke something to him over the line before she stepped up from her seat and walked out of sight.

The thought of tailing her briefly passed from your mind but the director's voice cutting the scene and calling it a wrap, drew your attention away from the female and into the cheering that escalated and filled the room with quite some enthusiasm. Understandably the crew must have had enough at this point and the end of today's filming had brought them visible joy, so much that you witnessed some literally jumping into each other's arms and jumping around together while smiling.

The place was washed with positivity almost instantly, taking you a bit by surprise yet your eyes soon fell on someone that did not match the vibe. Jungkook had just stepped out of the pool, his nice clothes drenched fully as he himself was. His perfectly styled hair has been destroyed but fallen perfectly nonetheless. 

A female staff provided him with a robe right before his manager approached him and to his surprise, Jungkook eyed him in a rather threatening manner right after he opened his mouth and told him something you could not possibly hear.

He turned around almost instantly after and headed towards the exit at a rather quick pace and his manager tailed after him in a visible hurry that made you rush after them, despite the fact that you were not aware of where this could possibly take you. However, if you were to just stay there, and return back with nothing at hand, you sure wouldn't feel pleased with that outcome so in order to make your time worth it, you had to take a bit of a risk.
