"i'll come back again. stop being so clingy, min. you're the older one here." chaeyoung said, pushing minhyuk away.

"but why is it so long though? i'll miss you," minhyuk pouts, trying to hug chaeyoung again.

"there's a lot to do there. nothing i can do about that too. the company decided to take us there for a month." chaeyoung explain.

"hm. it's gonna be empty here without you," minhyuk said, sad that his girlfriend is going away to New York for a month to work.

"we have video calls, we can always do that. don't be sad. just enjoy your break, okay?" chaeyoung assured.

"still. let's go on a date today? pleaseeee," begs minhyuk.

"sure!" chaeyoung agreeing.

"oh, you know what... actually before you go, i want to give you something. since we can't celebrate our 2nd year anniversary together, i want to give you gifts now."

"really? you really don't have to though. what is it? hehe,"

"my friend owns a accessory store here. let me inform her first,"

"hi minhyuk! welcome! are you his girlfriend? chaeyoung-ssi? omg, you're so pretty and tall! i'm so jealous wow....," yubin exclaims.

"ah, thank you so much yubin-ssi," chaeyoung reply, shy with the compliment.

"she's jealous of everyone. i don't know what's wrong with her," minhyuk said, earning a punch from yubin.

chaeyoung giggles.

"what do you want to buy? any specific style?" yubin asks.

"i want to give her a ring and necklace. can you make it for us?" minhyuk replied.

"sure. choose your ring and necklace first, then inform me right away, okay? take your time," yubin excuses herself.

minhyuk chose a butterfly ring and a simple heart necklace for chaeyoung.

he brought those to yubin who is at the front desk. minhyuk asked yubin to engrave their anniversary date onto the ring. for the necklace, he asked yubin to put their first picture during their first date 2 years ago.

"you're pretty before too! wow you're so lucky min!" yubin said.

"i know," minhyuk replied, winking to chaeyoung.

after a while, he thought that he could trust yubin so he just reveal the news to her among her in real life friends. yubin is a really good friend of his.

"thank you so much, min. i love you so much. happy 2nd anniversary, love." chaeyoung said.

"welcome, baby. i love you more. i'll catch a taxi for you, okay? have fun in New York. call me later when you've arrived okay?," minhyuk bids her goodbye and kissed her.

chaeyoung had to return to her dorm to pack some stuffs before they fly to New York tomorrow. she can't meet minhyuk again since her flight is at 4AM. she doesn't want to trouble minhyuk and keep him awake.

"minhyuk..." yubin calls out from her store, after seeing minhyuk sending off chaeyoung.

"yeah, why?" minhyuk asked.

"she's back here." minhyuk is frozen. he didn't know what to do. he hates seeing her, he hates this feeling.

"i don't care, i have chaeyoung," and with that, he goes back home. to his apartment with chaeyoung.
