Dixie PoV:
What?! Bryce and Addison, my home town best friends, we're literally just stood in my London doorway. How?! Why did they come?! That's doesn't even matter, they saw me and Noah kiss! They're literally go ngl to kill me, I went on and on about me and Noah being 'just friends' and they saw us kiss....shit.————————————————————
"What am I supposed to do," Dixie said, pacing back and forth across the room.
"Talk to them. I'm sure they will understand." Noah advised to the now anxious dixie.
"No they won't, did you see how mad they were?"
"Try to talk to them."
"No, they won't listen, I should have never kissed you."
"What! I thought you said the feelings are mutual. You were the one who said that you wanted to kiss me."
"No wait, Noah. I didn't mean it like that."
"Then what did you mean, Dixie?" Noah said while walking out of the room.
"Noah please, I just ruined things with my childhood best friends and I've most likely lost them forever, I can't lose you too. You mean everything to me, Noah, everything." Dixie pleaded, following Noah as he walked out of their shared dorm.
The pair were now stood outside their dorm in the corridor. They knew very well that everyone around would be able to hear every spoken word, but in this moment, that did not matter. All that mattered, to Dixie, was to regain her best friend, her other half. She couldn't bare to lose Noah, not after how happy he made her. He truly meant everything to her, and not another person on earth could change that.
"I mean everything to you? But, when you want to kiss me, that's a mistake? That doesn't seem like I mean everything to you, so please if yo don't mind, would you care to elaborate?" Noah spoke sternly, in a tome dixie had never heard before, a tone that she didn't believe she deserved, no matter what happened.
"Okay...when I moved from california, alone, I had nobody. I had nobody Noah. I was alone, and I'd travelled over 3500 miles to come to a university halfway across the globe to pursue something most people can only dream about. To pursue modelling, to pursue my dream. And I'm sorry if that sounds cringey but it's true. I Was all by myself, then I met you. You changed me, Noah, you made me see the world from a different perspective, you make me a better person, you make me happy, you are me happier than I've ever been; happier than I ever thought I could be. So please never, and I mean never, say you don't mean anything to me because you mean more to me than anything else on this god damn earth!" Dixie said, now on the verge of tears.
"....D-dix I-I'm sorry dix, it's just when you said you shouldn't have kissed me it broke my heart. You mean more to me than anyone else in this world, do you understand?"
"I know that Noah, I just can't lose you. Not now, not ever."
"If i lose you dixie, i lose myself. You aren't going anywhere, not matter what happens?"
"I don't plan on going anywhere, now kiss me"
"Your wish is my command"
And with that, Noah crashed his lips into Dixie's, once again completing her jigsaw: him being the missing puzzle piece. The kiss was something a woman can only dream of, a kiss from that one movie scene that sends tingles all over your body every time you watch it, a kiss from that one chapter in your favourite love story that twists your insides with glee, that one kiss that only exists in your imagination.
But for Dixie, her imagination was now reality. Her lips kept sinking deeper into Noah's, unable to stop. Neither of the two wanted to pull away, neither wanted to break the connection. However, they needed their breath, Dixie broke the kiss with a smile reaching from ear to ear; she'd never been happier...
