𝙣𝙤 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮, 𝙣𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙚

"Oh, Lena!"

Elena smiled to her friend and hugged him dearly. Every time they hugged, he wanted to keep her close till the end of time but Elena being clueless much, and smiling to him making everything harder for him.

"Hey, I missed you!"

"I missed you too, sweetheart"

They both sat down and ordered their usual meals for Tuesday night with a glass of red wine. Waitress was carful enough to remember them and their orders after the few more meetings they had.

However, Elena was not cheery much. Some unexpected sadness and disappointment was hanging around her face.

"What is it, Lena?"

"Nothing? Why?"

"Do not lie to me, I know you long enough to name that you are lying"

Elena sighed this time, she shouldn't have speak that night. She should not have tell to him, just for his own sake however she did, he was her friend; her best friend and she was feeling things, not so friendly things.

"I think, Damon is seeing another woman"

"What?"

Klaus was shocked, he would never tell but back in their wedding day, Damon threatened him to stay away from Elena. Was that for this? For infidelity?

"I mean, how did you realize?"

"He's been acting different lately; he is working till the  late night and when I say late night, I mean two, three in the morning. He is hiding something, and I know he has a second phone"

He cursed himself for not telling how he felt when he learned she was seeing Damon. He held her hand and looked her in the eyes. Her eyes were filled with tears.

"With who?"

"That girl from company, I guess her name is Sybil"

Her and Klaus were friends back from the high school, mainly the senior year. Elena and him were thinking about the same college snd surprisingly, the same major; Laws.

So they both started the college as law students but then, Klaus realized he was more eager to paint or draw so he changed his branch and started to study arts.

At his first exhibition, which was very crowded, Elena was there for him. And when she lost her first court, he was there for her with a bottle of wine at the Tuesday night.

"But I cannot just go and blame him, I do not have any proof"

"You are being lawyer, sweetheart. You can call him out, he is your husband"

Elena scoffed because he was being annoyingly right. She took a sip from her wine and massaged her head slowly, hoping it would help her with the ache.

"Damon cheating on me, honestly I should have seen this one coming"

"Do not say that, all you ever wanted was a happy family"

Klaus hated to see her cry, he seriously hated. And he knew he was not going to give up on this. Not until his dying day, his life wish was making her happy so he was going to do.
