They don't see you the way I do
For them it's black and white
For us it's technicolor
Watching eyes on your every move
They'll tell you who to be 'cause they don't know the other side
The wild in your eyes
That thing only you can recognize

You're the artist everybody loves. From your voice all the way to your music. People fell in love with you when you sang the song Sign of the Times. After you uploaded your cover of that song on YouTube you got calls from record labels left and right. Before you knew it you singed with Island Records, made your first album and started a sold out world tour. That was already three years ago where you also happened to meet the love of your life, Danielle Rose Russell, a (underrated) actor.

I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you where the wild things grow
And we can go exploring
Underneath the midnight glow
Let the darkest of nights ease your mind
Free your soul
I'll meet you in the forest
Let's let this wild thing grow, mmm

You're currently promoting your single Forest on talk shows and podcasts. James Cordon invited you to his show and it was as always amazing. He talked about your song, your life which also includes Danielle. Not that anybody cared but you went on and on about how much you love her. Danielle saw this with Kaylee and Jenny and they awed at the sight. James asked about what the song was about and you wanted to be as discreet as possible because you didn't want Danielle to know it was about her so you just gave a random answer while it still being true. You said it was about "This song is just an anthem for showing up for yourself and being able to love yourself, love others and be kind."

In your еyes I see evergreen
And fiеlds of marigolds like they go on forever
When we're there you and I are kings
There's no one else to please so darling don't you ever go
Thinking no one cares
Just call my name
And anytime you're scared

The single drops tonight and you're going to be on Jimmy Fallon when it happens. And it was the same as James Cordon, he asked you questions and you played games. This time Danielle was working so she couldn't see you on t.v or hear your song.

I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you where the wild things grow
And we can go exploring
Underneath the midnight glow
Let the darkest of nights ease your mind
Free your soul
I'll meet you in the forest
Let's let this wild thing grow, mmm

Danielle was on her way to work and on her way there she heard your song come on the radio. She turned the song up and listened to the song. As she hears the lyrics she can't help but feel that it's about her but that would be wrong because you said it was about being able to love yourself. She keeps questioning it until she hears the next verse and it clicks. It's about her. She's been doubting herself lately and you wanted to create a song to uplift her spirits. And I would say it's working.

It's in your heart, in your mind
It's every day, it's every night
It's anywhere
And everywhere you are
Where you are

I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you where the wild things grow
I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you where the wild things grow
And we can go exploring
Underneath the midnight glow
Let the darkest of nights ease your mind
Free your soul
I'll meet you in the forest
Let's let this wild thing grow (Grow)

The song went on and on and she rolled down the window and yelled the song out the window.

I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you in the forest
I'll meet you in the forest
Meet you in the forest
Meet you in the forest
Meet you in the forest

At the end of the day Danielle loves the song but she loves you more.
