Sometimes before something big would happen, he would get this feeling. Call it intuition, call it a sixth sense. Whatever, but he could feel it as soon as he sat at the bar. Something was going to change tonight. His life wasn't going to be the same after tonight, he could feel it. He started looking around the restaurant, growing slightly uneasy.

"What's wrong?" his best friend asked.

"Not sure," he murmured.

About to get up from his stool, he cast another look around the room, and that was when he saw her. An angel. She had black hair to her shoulders, beautiful dark brown skin, and smile that was illuminating her entire face. She had amazing curves that the dress she was wearing was only doing favors to, and the way that it stopped at the knee was really showing off her legs in a great way. He watched her almost float in, next to a woman that he honestly couldn't remember anything about. In fact, he really couldn't even remember his own name at this point.

"Hey, pick your jaw up off the floor."

His best friend pulled him back onto the stool he hadn't even realized he stood up from, and had to almost physically close his mouth. He got a grip on himself, and turned to face his friend.

"Did you see that woman that just walked in? That black dress is really doing her justice. Damn."

His friend shook his head, " No, you should have been looking at her friend. Now she is gorgeous. But it doesn't matter anyway, looks like they're on a date. There's two guys with them."

He turned half-way around to get another look, and sure enough, the women were now hugging two men and taking a seat at a table across the restaurant. He watched her sit down, noting that the idiot she seemed to be with couldn't have been bothered to seat her before he himself sat down. He scoffed, and turned around again, for the last time.

"Yeah, that's not going to last."

"How do you know that?"

"I know. Trust me."
