One Step at a Time

This is a one shot story of Inspector Wang Yibo and Dr. Xiao Zhan.

This is just a try I hope I won't bore you. Well, since this is an individual story, I prefer to name it.....

'TWO STEP AT A TIME'



"Open the door. It's police." It was almost 10 pm. Xiao Zhan jumped on that rapid knocking on his apartment door and he slowly opened the door.

There were three policemen in front of his door and the one who was in the middle were carried by the other two. And they both flashed their ID to Xiao Zhan.

Xiao Zhan was really in shock.

"You are a doctor?" one of them asked and Xiao Zhan nodded immediately.

Those policemen didn't ask anything but carried the guy in the middle to inside his apartment. Xiao Zhan noticed the blood that dripping from the guy's shoulder and he immediately prepared his sofa to let him lay on that.

"What happened?"

He asked to the other two while he kneeled down near that injured policeman and checked his wound in a really professional manner.

"Bullet. Can you treat it?" One of those un injured man asked and Xiao Zhan was still seriously checking the spot where that bullet got hit.

"You should have taken him to a hospital." Xiao Zhan said but he already unbuttoned the man's uniform and checked more carefully.

"We don't have time to explain but can you treat him?" Those policemen was really in hurry and Xiao Zhan got up from the floor and looked at them.

"Looks like it's not that deep wound so yes I can treat him." Xiao Zhan understands the urgency of them and nodded before he already run inside to a room to get his first aid kits.

The injured police man was still conscious and Xiao Zhan heard him refusing to stay there when his friends asked him to.

"You did a good job and we will get you back after it's over." One of the policeman told the injured one When Xiao Zhan came back from his room with some towels and boxes.

"We are leaving him here for now." They said to Xiao Zhan and Xiao Zhan nodded immediately to them before they storm out.

"Fuck!!!" He heard a weak curse from his sofa when he closed his door and he looked back at the policeman who has folded his one arm over his eyes, laying there, trying to endure the pain.

Xiao Zhan ran towards his kitchen and brought some warm water also.

He brought a chair and sat near the sofa so that he could treat his wound easily.

He unbuttoned the rest of the policeman's jacket and the blue shirt inside it.

"Can you move a little..." He asked and that police man already helped him to strip himself the upper clothes of him and Xiao Zhan laid him down carefully on his back again to the sofa. He supported his body with some pillows so that man could lean on.

"You don't have to panic. It's not that serious wound." Xiao Zhan said while he wiped the blood from that young man's body. He got some really interesting muscles. Xiao Zhan thought.
