Darryls pov
Darryl
ZakIt seemed like it took forever to get there, the car ride was so silent. The only things that were said was the accional, right, left, strait, ya know, normal directions. Once arrived I practically hopped out of the car and planted my feet on the smooth concrete sidewalk. I bent down to the open car window and spoke to Zak "thank you so much for the ride! I'll figure my own way back, so if this is goodbye it was amazing meeting you!" I made my voice sound as warm as I could and did a little wave goodbye "it was a pleasure. Thanks for letting me stay." With no further words I backed away from the vehicle with my bag in hand and made my way towards the entrance of the building. I saw my co worker looking though the glass doors rather.... frantic?...
(Just to note cause I was kinda confused rereading this, Darryel is at the daycare working and Zak left in his care)
"Hey Trish(random name).... is everything okay you seem unsettled?" I said as I opened the door and slipped my way in. She immodenrly took ahold of my free hand and let me to the kid cafeteria, or as we call it, the kitty pool for short because there is enough food left after to fill a pool. Sounds dumb I know.
"T-The sink! I-it won't t-turn off! J-Jackson just left m-me with it!.." she spoke almost to fast for me to understand the words she had in her mouth, and sure enough I look over and see the sink otherflowing and slashing all over the floor, there was enough water on the floor for us to.wish we had drains...
I took no hesitation to go down under the sink and turn the water off, after a moment of the last bits of water dropping, or stopped, the water sat still. "Whay caused this anyways?.." I asked in a calm tone and slowly made my way to the closed door in ankle high water "o-one of the kids stuck a toy pony down the drain and turned on t-the recycler thingy, it got clogged and while Jackson was trying to g-get it, he busted a pipe as you s-saw" she still seemed shaken by the entire situation, all I had in reply was a long sigh. "Get out the door quickly so we don't flood the water into this room" I said as I prepared to open the door. I opened it and we both fled out and slammed the door shut. Some water got out but not enough to make a fuss over it. "I guess I'll call a plumber one second..." I said as I reached in my bag and felt for my phone, "uhh..." I felt around a little more before taking it and throughly looking thought it. It wasn't there?.."Heya Trish would.you be a dear and call my phone?" She nodded and got out her phone and after a moment of silence she looked up and asked "c-could I get your number?" I laughed in response and her face flushed red as she gripped her phone tight.
I told her my number and she called it, we sat in silence, listening, waiting.Yep.
I left it in the car. . .
Zak POV
I had all the windows down as I rode in the car, the way I liked it. The radio up, the windows down! It felt amazing! The traffic was a lot better today then yesterday, there was a good amount of cars but everything stayed moving. Using Google maps it took me about 10 minutes to get to the air port, I took the keys out the engine and put them in the glove box. "Don't worry sweet car I'll be back for you in a bit, auntie Jenna will be here to pick you up soon" with Tha picked up my coat that Darryel had so pleasantly sat on in the passenger seat and rolled it up and threw it in my backpack. I checked my phone one last time, 2:56, almost perfect timing! I rushed inside and showed my plane ticket to the girl up front, she pointed me to the right direction where I met up with a significantly older man who took my ticket and let me board the plane.
I let them take my suit case but I choose to keep my backpack, which meant they had to check everything in it. So they took all my containers of deodorant, and shampoo for 'suspicious container' reasons. I'll just buy new ones I suppose. I'm not looking forward to wasting more money but eh. I went to surprisingly comfy seat and waited
After a few minutes...
"Hello passengers this is your captain speaking,"
Blah blah blah yeah I've hear it all before.

DingOkay. What the fuck- I started to dig jn my bag and the dining kept going on and drawing uneeded attention to myself. "Sorry, sorry, sorry.." I mumbled under my breath as I grabbed a hard object out of mt bang and pulled it out, it was a phone, this wasn't my phone?.. I turned it on and saw a familiar fur ball I couldn't quite place where I saw it from.
I pulled down the notification bar thing and put it on silent. I couldn't help but eas on the notifications though, it was discord notification from someone named dream, Georgenotfound, and Sapnap, they were sure blowing up this phone.
The phone didn't have a password, I couldn't help myself, I had to look further... first I looked at the discord DMs of BadBoyHalos and Dreams. He was actively typing, saying soemtbing about how he was blowing up and it was gonna be big, it was all happening right now?
Though I was reluctant I slowly typed to him "Hey, this isn't the owner of this phone, I don't know how but it appeared in my bag" the typing stopped once I pressed send. It started and stopped a few times before a new message appeared "this isn't darryel?"

It hit me like a steel truck. Oh well good going me I jsut stole a man's phone on accident!"Excuse me sir?"
I looked up from the phone
"Please put the phone on airplane mode"
I sighed trying to think of a way not to... I couldn't.
"Okay" I said in slight defeat as I did what she asked, I looked out the window as we elevated higher and higher into the sky
"I'm sorry darryel... I guess I'll see you again someday soon."
