Sarawat suddenly stopped the ignition of his uncle's truck. Tine, who sitting and almost dozing off on the passenger's seat, jolted up and looked around to see if Wat's promised McDonald's was there already. He looked around aimlessly before looking back at Sarawat with a confused looked.

"Where's McDonald's? Why did you bring me to a cliff?" Tine enquired then gasped audibly, "Don't tell me you want to murder me!?"

Sarawat looked at him with an 'are-you- serious' look, "You seriously didn't just ask that?"

"Why did you bring me here then? I thought we were about to have our date", Tine furrowed his eyebrows again.

"We are having our date", he opened the door and jumped out, "Come out, Tine".

"Why? Didn't you say McDonald's? Where's that? It's not there!" Tine looked around like a lost puppy.

"I want to show you something first", Wat chuckled at his adorable boyfriend.

"What?"

"Come out first", He closed the door he was holding and went to open the door for Tine.

Once the latter was out, he was greeted with the cool salty breeze, announcing the existence of the sea down the cliff.

"You aren't going to murder me, are you?" Tine joked again.

"Come on, bunny. Stop joking", Wat groaned.

Tine giggled in response.

"Come with me", he clasped Tine's soft palm in his and pulled him towards the edge, stopping at a safe distance from the edge.

Tine looked down only to go pale and tightening his grip on his boyfriend's hand.
Sarawat immediately knew Tine was still afraid of heights.

"This is where I, Man, and Boss used to do cliff jumping on summer holidays! I want to try this with you today. What do you say, baby?" He looked back, trying to sound calm. His main motive was to remove the fear from Tine and let him get a taste of his favourite sport and he knew the only way to achieve that was to let him face his fears.

He knew Tine will never say no to him directly, but those subtle gestures like squeezing his hands, fluttering eyelids, and fidgeting demeanor would clearly give off the signs of his discomfort.

"I-", he swallowed a lump, "Wat, I don't feel well. Let's do it some other day, yeah?"

Sarawat clasped his boyfriend's hands even tighter, "It'll be fine. Don't worry".

"No-o I mean... I-"

"Do you trust me?", He asked now looking squarely in his eyes. Tine nodded his head hesitantly," I do."

"Then trust me when I say it'll be fine", Sarawat gave the most gentle smile he can conjure up, making Tine's heart flutter.

"But-" Tine was stopped on the midway as Sarawat put a finger on his lips. This gesture made some fuzzy sensations erupt in his stomach.

They started to date only a few days ago and he was here becoming a blushing mess, wanting to disappear in thin air.

"It'll be alright", Sarawat murmured. Tine nodded hesitantly, fluttering his eyelashes several times.

Tine's fingers shook as he changed into a red swimming trunk and walked out, shivering. He was scared.

He remembered the times he passed out because of the fear of heights. One part of his heart believes that it was going to be alright, probably because Sarawat was there and another part was screaming to go back to his home back under the blanket and hide there for the rest of his life.
