Hold a Smile, Hide a Frown

Keep my head down

But when I look up I admire the sky

Afraid of attention

Desperate for recognition

Headphones in to escape this world

Seeking for someone to ground me

Try to avoid talking to others

I just want someone to talk to me

Ignore friends

Because I was ignored

Sleep in late and stay up later

Because there is nothing to wake up too

Throw on all black and comfort clothes

Because I am insecure

I don't put in an effort

Because nobody ever put an effort into me

Hide feeling

Because boys don't cry

Keep in emotions by day

Breakdowns by night

Feel good sometimes

Always someone to bring me back down
