Previously on chapter #03:

Delusion giggled at Solar's actions, and Solar just gave an embarrassed look in response

"Okay, bye hunny!" Delusion stood up and created a portal for himself

Solar watched as his boyfriend entered the portal, he waved goodbye to him and Delusion gave a small smile in response. Even after months of dating, even the smallest of smiles delusion gave would make his heart flutter.

As Delusion exits the portal he was met upon a person dressed in blue slouched on his desk.
Delusion sighed, immediately recognizing the person.

"...Swap, what are you doing here?" He asked sternly

"I just wanted to visit you darling!" Swap said in a flirtatious type of tone

Delusion cringed at the nickname since Solar would call him that not this guy or whatever Swap is

"Just get out of my office" Delusion said pointing to the door clearly annoyed

"Fine, fine, I'll see you again later darling~" Swap said teasingly and slowly exited the room

Delusion had sat back down and started on his new batch of paperwork.
After a few minutes Ink had entered the room with some steaming hot coffee
Since they were both equally busy they didn't interact but instead continued with their own tasks.

____An Hour later_____

Delusion heard a knock on his door and saw Ink enter the room.

"Sir, Nightmare's group has been spotted and had been cornered by the gaurds near Nixan forst" Ink said

"Ah alright.. I'll be there soon" Delusion responded, in all honesty he was kind of excited to see his brother again, he always wonders how he was doing and if he was safe.

"Here are also some cases that had happened this week" Ink said handing over the small stack of papers

Delusion was lost in thought he noticed the small stack of paper in his hands and had noticed that Ink had already left, leaving him alone in his office. He is now wondering if he should go or not since their last interaction wasn't the best..

*Flash back*

"Night... Please i just-"

"SAVE IT! I'm leaving"

"Wait! Night i just-"

Nightmare had hit Dream with a heavy object making Dream pass out from the impact.
Night panicked, he didn't mean to hit him, even though he 'hates' him he didn't mean to hit him. He then got curious on what his younger brother was going to say before getting knocked out.

*End of Flashback*

After Delusion recalled that memory, he then received a letter from the Dream au's it read:

   | Hello Mamma Delusion
   | How are you? You haven't visited us in a very long time and we are worried!
   | Can you please send us letters every week???
   | We want to make sure our best mom is okay since we are okay!
   |  
   | -Love Dream au's

Delusion smiled after reading the letter, he was happy that they were doing better than him, his thoughts started battling against each other not knowing what to do, was he going to got to Nightmare first? Or will he go investigate first?
After a few seconds he finally decides to got to Nightmare first, he hopes he won't runaway from him this time
