Haikyuu Lemon 🍋 oneshots ~

You were currently sulking at your desk because your fleabag of a teacher had asked you to tutor the Miya twins. As famous as they were, both of them sucked at their academics. Osamu was somewhat better than Atsumu but bad nonetheless. Thinking about how you would handle these two gave you a headache. You thought back at what led you to get stuck in this mess.

You were angry at yourself for not completing that one assignment on time. What's worse was that you were convinced that the teacher had something against you. You always had to be careful not to make any mistake, as even the smallest slip up could make you get needless punishments. If only you hadn't stayed up late at night reading manga after forgetting your school work.

You were broken out of your thoughts by a loud bang behind you. Looking back with a scowl on your face, you found an annoyed Atsumu who seemed to have slammed his books on his table.

"What are yer lookin at?" Atsumu asked. You simply looked to the seat beside him to find an equally annoyed Osamu staring at Atsumu and you while showing a rare expression which you were convinced was a look of disinterest mixed with annoyance.

Atsumu quickly grew frustrated that you had ignored him. snapping his fingers to get your attention, he stated lowly, "I asked you something, don't act so stuck up."

You looked back at him and sighed while saying, "Look, I know that you guys are probably furious at the teacher asking you to use your practice time to study, but I need you to understand that you're not the only one who's at loss here. I have to make sure you guys get good scores in the test next week, or my internal scores will be reduced too. I just wanna get this over with as soon as possible and I need us to work together with cooperation. Please don't make this harder than it already is. Believe me, I am equally pissed at the teacher as you are."

Osamu's face twisted into one of agreement. Facing the blonde, he said "She's right Atsumu, let's just do it and get this done. We don't want to make Kita angrier than he would be when he hears about this. The least we can do is put some actual effort into this."

Atsumu simply gave a nod of approval after grumbling about the issue and asked you to meet them at the volleyball gym after school. He got up and gave you a fake smile before leaving for the next class with Osamu. Before leaving, Osamu exchanged numbers with you.

You were relieved that they listened to what you wanted. Part of you thought who this Kita person was. Thinking back, you remembered that Atsumu's face showed quite a bit of fear when his name was mentioned.

This made you think he was probably their captain and that they were hotheaded. You made a mental note to avoid him as you'd be spending a lot of time till next week near the volleyball team. You pushed the thought to the back of your mind and started to head to your next class.

(Skip to after school)

You zoomed out of your classroom and were on your way to the gym. Realization hit you like a brick that you didn't know which gym the volleyball practice takes place in. Inarizaki was a big school with multiple gyms and blocks. It was on par with Shiratorizawa high in terms of size.

You weren't familiar with each and every part of your own school. You never bothered to explore the places where the extracurricular activities took place because you never thought there would be a day where you would need to make use of the gyms.

The bigger the school, the harder it is to know your way. As expected, you soon found yourself in an area of the school you didn't recognise.

Your phone dinged suddenly startling you. Taking it out of your bag, you saw a message from Osamu saying that practice was cancelled today and that the gym couldn't be used for your session.
