Amanda's POV

2 YEARS AGO...
There I sat on my Couch.. watching anxiously waiting to see if they would make it through. It must have been the slowest five seconds of my life.

"REBECCA!" Said the Host.

Right then all five of their young faces fell. I was just on the verge of tears when I got a phone call from my best friend.

"Amanda?" Asked Niall.

"Yeah it's me what's up Buddy?"

"So you most likely saw that we lost the X-Factor," he said trailing off.

"Of course I was watching. And yes I saw. Is everything alright Ni?"

"Yeah. but you know Simon Cowell right? Turns out he is the producer of Syco music just offered all five of us a record label with them.." He trailed off. My heart instantly just dropped.

"W-what? Your serious?" I hesitantly asked.

"Yes! We're all moving to LA with him to start recording right away..." After that phrase all emotions I had built inside of me came out. I started crying

"Niall, that's awesome... but I'll never get to see you" I said while full on bawling now.

"Amanda please don't cry." he said "if you start crying I'll start to cry." now I could here him sniffling on the other end.

"Niall I'm never going to see you again... I need you to promise me one thing and one thing only..."

"W-What is it?"

"Please don't forget about me..."

"Amanda, You have always been my best friend.. I don't think I would be able to forget about you no matter how hard I tried" he said inbetween cries.

"You never know.. Fame changes people.."

"It would never change me.. I'm just a little boy from Mullingar, and I will never forget where I came from." He said crying.

"Text me, and call me when you can.. you know I have practically no life so I will almost always pick up to talk to you. your my only friend.. I-I can't lose you." I pleaded.

"You do have no life A.." He said trying to lighten the mood up a little bit

"Shut Up Ni."

"Fame won't change me. I'll always be the reckless mother fucker I always have been. And you know I'm veerryy good with the Ladies..."

"Since when?" I said smiling now. He always knows how to make me smile.

"Since now... But the point is I could never forget about you, your my little sister!"

"You better not be lying to me Niall, I will never forgive you for this."

"I'm not Lying A."

"Then say it. I need to hear you say it. " I said.

"Amanda..." He said causiously.."I promise I won't forget about you"

Those Seven words were nothing but lies.

Two years. Two fucking years. I have not heard from My best friend.

Even though he had promised me, I just had a gut feeling that he would end up forgetting about me..

These two years, have been the worst two years of my life. My parents got a divorce, and my dick of a father wants nothing to do with me. I have continually been bullied.. but that's nothing new.

The thing that hurts me the most, I've tried to contact Niall... so many times.. nothing. Was I no longer good enough? Just because he is famous?

I was always there for him. I was there when Greg died, I was there when he had his first heartbreak, shit. I was even there during his X-Factor audition.

We met when we were eight, I had just moved to Mullingar. He was my neighbor and we would always hang out. We ended up being best friends within a week.

He knew everything about me, and I knew everything about him.

But now, I'm not so sure.

I'm not going to lie. I love One Direction. I have always been their fan. I have seen almost all of the interviews, all the video diaries, and I even went to their Up All Night tour. But did he see me? Nope. he didn't even make an effort to talk to me. Nope. He Didn't even know I was there for Crying out loud!!

But Little did he know...

I was in love with my best friend Niall James Horan.

And he didn't even make an effort anymore.

And most of all, he forgot about me...
