ORION SINCLAIR COULDN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT JULES FINALLY FINDING OUT THE TRUTH. The way she looked at the hospital. The fear and confusion that occupied her typically conscious eyes. How quick Jules was to mask her trepidation with bitter anger. Ever since meeting the girl in Dr. Chambers' office, she'd become well accustomed to her wide range of emotions. From concealed excitement, admiration, and pure compassion to bitter bluntness and raging fury. But Orion couldn't recall a time she'd seen the girl as shaken as she was during the car ride to her house.

Jules was similar to Orion in that they were prone to repressing emotions they didn't want people to know they could feel. For Orion, she hid her loneliness, grief, and overall misery. Orion didn't like being a burden, nor did she like the agonizing conversations. For Jules, she hid any and every emotion that could be seen as weakness. That meant joy, kindness, and apprehension. She wanted people to see the cold exterior, not the girl behind the facade. That was reserved for a limited number of people──Orion and maybe her family.

So Orion was surprised to see how well she seemed to be taking everything. In their five years of friendship, Orion hadn't seen her adapt to any sort of change very well. Jules was the kind to throw a tantrum like a child over silly things. She'd throw a fit over any minor inconvenience. Yet, she appeared to be rather understanding and calm about the existence of the supernatural. Orion supposed that Jules was similar to her brother in how they reacted. Both of them focused on how intriguing it was instead of how damaging it could be. Though Jules didn't know how severe it all was because Orion didn't tell her.

After Scott and Stiles left the room, taking their unhelpful commentary elsewhere, Orion and Jules just talked about the situation. They talked about how Scott became a werewolf and how they discovered Derek was like him. But not wanting to overload her, Orion let out some crucial bits──such as the alpha wanting them dead and the Argents being a family of werewolf hunters. It wasn't until the next day when Jules had time to process everything, did Orion decide to be completely honest.
