Obie and I always talked about this day in which we enter the Hogwarts Express and get sorted into the same House and live our lives out just like dad and Aunt Gaia. But now it's just me and my future and it just sounds so damn lonely. How can people just live like this? It's torture. Since the day he died all I've asked myself is what do I do now?

We're traveling to King's Cross from Flourish and Blotts and I've never seen my parents such nervous wrecks. Aunt Gaia has kept a straight face around me but I overheard Dad teasing her in the other room for crying but all she said to me today is a strained Mornin', Posie. Dad is talking my ear off warning me on how not to get lost and Mum has been listing items I might have forgotten at home. We were driving in a 'TAXI' and Aunt Gaia was fidgeting with one of my braids that Mum had braided in the morning.

"And if Peeves ever bothers you-" Dad turns to face us from the passenger seat.

"Merlin, Arlo! Please we've heard it a million times." Mum grumbles while rolling her eyes. Aunt Gaia said they have always been like this mum 'the annoyed' and dad 'the annoying' but they could never live without each other. How Aunt Gaia dealt with it for so long is a mystery on its own.

I start tugging on my braids now and try to remember what Aunt Gaia taught me this summer in preparation for Hogwarts and the thought of not having family saddened me. And then dread fills my body when remembering I did have family while entering into Hogwarts and it was my cousin Daphne Greengrass. As young as I can remember my parents had told us of the privilege that we had in the wizarding world because people viewed us important for our 'pure blood' but that certainly didn't make us better than half blood or muggle born people. But Daphne wasn't taught the same thing as I was and surely thought someone who wasn't as pure blooded as her was better than her in any single way.

"What if I'm sorted into Slytherin?" I ask low enough for mum and my aunt to hear.

"We'll transfer you to Beauxbatons before it reaches the magazines." Mum jokingly says.

"Funny." I tug on my braids harder.

"You won't be sorted into Slytherin, Posie." Mum says while freeing my braid away from my hand.

"You're too much like your parents,Posie, and if you were sorted into Slytherin we'll love you either way." My aunt whispers in my ear and then points to King's Cross once it's in view.

"Are you ready, darling?" Dad turns around to face us with a grin.

"Yeah I think I am." I say with a nervous smile.

As I step out I adjust my outfit that Mum, Aunt Gaia and I spent weeks on because first impressions are everything. A short sleeved cropped light blue baseball tee and relaxed straight leg fit light blue jeans. She looks to her right wrist where a dark blue bracelet with the initials O.D.F  and two light blue star beads on each side of her twin brothers initials. Obie is going to be right beside me every step of the way.
