'My dad is my hero' is a phrase we've all heard, right? Or maybe have even said ourselves.
For Vixen Banner, it was her reality. Her dad was Bruce Banner a.k.a The Hulk.
Her dad being The Hulk put her in danger, which resulted in her getting kidnapped by HYDRA.
While in HYDRA, they trained her, injected her with stuff she didn't recognize, that stuff was basically liquid powers.
The powers they gave her were heat vision, freeze breath, flying, super strength, telekinesis, and healing although she can't heal herself.
It took her a while to learn how to control them. Months and months of being tortured by HYDRA, but this was 3 years ago when she was just 13.

3 years ago.
She woke up, vision foggy and body aching in pain.
"Oh good, you're up!" She heard a HYDRA agent, who you assumed is Rumlow.
"Get away from me!" Vixen choked out in pain.
He bent down, his breath hot on your neck. She didn't like it, she didn't like it at all. It feels weird and gross. He smelled like rum, maybe that's where he got the name from.
"Feisty, I like that." He said
"No!! Get off me." She screamed, nobody heard her and if they did they would care. She tried to push him but do to all his obvious training he was to strong.
He proceeded to put his hands under her shirt, touching her in places she didn't want to be touched in and she couldn't do anything about it.
She started screaming louder and louder trying to get him off of her. Until she could anymore, she gave up but she really wished she hadn't because when she woke up all she could feel was pain everywhere.
She looked to the side and saw Rumlow again. He grinned at you, a smile scarier than the Cheshire Cat.
"Please let me alone, I didn't do anything to you." She said a mixed between a whimper and a whisper.
She could barely talk from all the screaming she did the previous night.
But he just kept grinning before doing it what he did last night again and again and again, and it continued for months before he finally did what he was supposed to do.
She realized this we she woke up in metal restraints, usually she would wake up shirtless and hands tied in ropes.
"Finally, you're awake." He smirked. "I can't wait to watch you scream in pain, over and over again."
She whimpered in pain. He laughed at that. Something she learned over the months of being here is Rumlow loved when she was in pain.
"Now, now darling, don't worry it'll just hurt... a lot." He said with a nasty grin, one that not even the Joker could beat.
That's the last thing she heard before being stabbed with a bunch of needles and passing out from the pain.

When she woke up she was in a glass box. The same one Loki was put in after the battle of New York.
She looked around the room till she spotted a tv, on it was something that horrified her, possibly more than HYDRA.
Her not blood related uncle, Tony Stark, Pepper and a bunch of his suits fighting what looked to be mutants.
The mutants bodies were charred and in between each crevice you could see a orange glow. She really hope they was ok. A couple minutes later she saw Pepper fall into the fire.
"NOOOO!!!!" She dropped to her knees and let out the most nasty, bloody curdling scream anyone has ever heard.
It took her a few second before she realized she had blue wisp coming out of her hands.
"Oh my god, what did the do to me." She let out another loud sob and with it she broke the glass.
"Security breach in north and south entrances." She heard over the comms.
This was it, this was when she would finally get out. She open the doors and looked in the hallway before walking out.
"Hey! What are you doing out!" She heard an agent shout. She used her powers since she didn't have them under control yet, she hit something else but that hit his head knocking him unconscious.
Running down the corridor then making a left she bumped into someone she was going to blast them but then she recognize them. It was Natasha.
"Oh my- thank god, you're ok!" Nat said tears threatening to fall.
She went to hug her which made Vixen flinch. Nat thankful gir the hunt and backed away.
"Come on kiddo, let's bring you home." Nat smiled at her. Vixen lightly smiling back.
"I missed you all!" Vixen said in a horse voice as soon as Nat got her to the quintet with rest of Avengers.
As soon as she spots Tony she says "I thought you were fighting mutants."
He looked at her before saying "I did, 3 weeks ago."
"Is Pepper ok?" She asked almost scared for the answer.
"Yeah, she's fine." He replied.
"How's she survive that fall?" Vixen asked.
"Aldrich Killian, the guy who made the mutants, turned her into one too. I managed to reverse the effects and now she's no longer a mutant." He explained proudly.
"Thank god!" She left out a breath of relieve.
"Hey kid, you should get some sleep." Vixen's dad says.
"Ok, goodnight." You said limping to the area where the beds were.
You tried to fall asleep but the only thing going through your head was all the terrible things they did to you.

Vixen is still cursed with nightmares but they've gotten less frequent. She also hasn't let anyone touch her(except for her dad but she was still hesitant about that.)... yet.
