Touch: The Pleasure Killer

Introduction

Hello everyone, I would like to thank you all for choosing to read my first story that is to be published☺️☺️. English is not my first language so I apologize for any errors in the story. I would like to inform you that I totally have no idea about how the security in each country or city works so I decide to make up a fictional security in the story. I am someone who loves reading and watching crime shows or series related to crime and murder-mystery. If any of you have any suggestions or can give me tips about improving my writing, please comment down. Now I'll give you an introduction to the major characters and a few minor characters in the story.

Main:

Eden Stiles - 16 year old teenage boy who lives in the town of White River. He is born with the ability of being able to receive information upon anything he touches, however, there is limitations to information when it comes to other humans. He lives alone with his older brother and grandmother near the Pleasure Killer. Eden is pretty much of a loner who loves listening to music though he also has his small group of friends that know his secret.

Rhys Black - a 22 year old timid young prosecutor who recently returned back to the town of White River. Though Rhys may appear as outgoing, he is afraid to take on huge challenges that might risk his life, however, he always have this sense of justice ever since he was little. Rhys is the roommate of Lucas Loras, a cold forensic doctor who hates socialising with others, but they both actually get along... well kind of. Rhys' mother was murdered right in front of him when he was little which set his path of then becoming a prosecutor. 

Lucas Loras: a 26 year old cold forensic doctor who shut himself out from the world ever since his girlfriend was murdered the day before their wedding. He vowed to find the killer that destroyed his happiness and decided to join the Forensics Service in the town of White River. He is the roommate of the timid Rhys Black, who he often tolerates having him around. Lucas dislikes messy things and would constantly yell at Rhys to clean up whatever mess he have left behind. 

Supporting

Gavin Stiles: Eden's 18 year old brother who has a rebellious nature, though he usually treats everyone like garbage, he has a soft spot for his younger brother and grandmother. Gavin often skips school to go hang out near the woods, sometimes might grab a girl on the way. He is overprotective of his family and would do anything to protect them, even if it meant exchanging his life for it. 

Sarah Harriet: One of Eden's best friends who knows Eden's ability, she is a playgirl who often likes to play with other people's feelings. Yet when it comes to her best friends, she is very protective of them and aggressive to those who harm are friends, just like a mama bear protecting her cubs. She also likes to flirt around with Eden and her other guy friends. 

Juliet Carlson: One of Eden's best friends who knows Eden's ability, she is an athlete who plays both volleyball and basketball. On the outside she might appear as a strong person, however, she is the most sensitive out of the rest in Eden's group. Juliet has a crush on Sarah but doesn't have any hopes for her because of Sarah's oblivious to her. Juliet gives out the best advice among those in her group and deeply cares for her friends. 

Mikey Kingsley: Eden's first ever friend and the closest to him, Mikey is the opposite of Eden yet they both get along extremely well. They first met at the playground when no one wanted to play with Eden, Mikey approached him and since then, they were inseparable. Mikey has a crush on Eden but is afraid to let his feelings grow bigger since he doesn't want his feelings to affect their relationship. However, he vows that he would confess to Eden one day so that he wouldn't feel all worked up. 

Tyler Kingsley: Mikey's older brother and a friend of Eden, though Eden and Tyler hardly interact since they are both awkward around each other, they pretty much are cool with each other. Tyler knows of his brother's feelings towards Eden and helps his brother several times to be with Eden. Tyler used to have a crush on Juliet, however it disappeared once he found out her feelings for Sarah. He then moves on to Eden's older brother, Gavin. 

Orion Woods: One of Eden's best friends who knows Eden's ability, he is a nerd on the human anatomy and often gives lessons to Eden about it. He is also Lucas' cousin and assistant despite his parents' protests of not wanting their son to do something gruesome. Orion likes the eyes the most out of the human anatomy since he thinks that it's the most beautiful part.
