I get up and get dressed and go downstairs for breakfast. I eat breakfast and head to school. I go to my first period English ugh. "Okay class we're going to be writing PenPals. You will each be assigned a PenPal and you and your PenPal will be writing about what it's like living in your state". Mr. Smith walks over to me and says "Y/N you will have Adam Banks as your PenPal" said Mr. Smith . "Adam Banks that sounds like a Preppy boy name I hope that he's not a mean jock". "Oh class I forgot to mention that you have to turn it in by Friday."
Skip to end of school
I'm walking to my house and on the way home I can't stop thinking about Adam and I don't even know him yet. I have got to start writing my letter I have so many things to talk about. I go inside and go upstairs to my room. I get dressed in some comfy clothes and lay on my bed and start writing. I wrote "Hey Adam I'm Y/N from California I honestly don't know why we have to write each other but I hope that I can get to know you. What are your hobbies? I love hockey and music. So what's it like in Minnesota? I've always wanted to go to Minnesota and play hockey. I could ask you so many more questions but I don't want to be annoying. I'm so excited for you to me back". I get done writing my letter to Adam. "That was easier than I thought".
Skip to the next day at school
It's Friday and we have to turn in our letters. I go up to the turn in box to turn my letter in and before I turn it in I read it over to make sure that it's good. I go sit back down at my desk and try to imagine what Adam looks like when my friend nudges me "Hey stop daydreaming". "I'm not". "Uh huh". "Whatever" I said rolling my eyes.
Skip to Monday
I walk into English with a smile on my face because I get to see what Adam wrote in his letter. I take a seat at my desk waiting for Mr. Smith to give me my letter. He hands me my letter and I couldn't stop smiling I don't even know this boy and I'm already crushing on him.
Adam's letter
"Hey Y/N it's Adam from Minnesota in your letter you said that you love hockey that's crazy because I love hockey too. I'm actually on a hockey team called The Mighty Ducks". "Omg he's on a hockey team" I said out loud and everybody started looking at me. I just awkwardly turned the other way and finished reading Adam's letter. After I finished reading his letter I opened the envelope to put the letter back into it when I noticed something in the envelope. Omg he sent me a picture of him. I put the picture of him back into the envelope so that I wouldn't lose it and I put the envelope in my binder.
POV: Y/N and Adam have been writing each other for about a year now
Y/B/F/N invited me to go to the mall and she's going to be here in about 20 minutes. I shower and get dressed and go downstairs and wait in the living room for her to be here. I here the door so I go an answer it. You and Y/B/F/N start walking to the mall since it's not far from your house.
Skips to when y'all get to the mall
We going into the food court and get something to eat we decided to get Subway. After we order our food we find somewhere to sit. I start eating and talking to Y/B/F/N when I notices something. "I-Is that Adam?" I get up not even paying attention to Y/B/F/N who's trying to talk to me. "A-Adam?" "Y/N?" I just hugged him I couldn't believe that it was actually him. W-What are you doing here?" "I'm playing in the Goodwill Games." "Do you want to hangout with me and Y/B/F/N?" "Sure". I grab Adam's hand and we walk over to where Y/B/F/N (I forgot to mention that you both like each other but haven't told each other yet)
"Hey Y/B/F/N this is Adam" "Adam this is Y/B/F/N". "Nice to meet you Y/B/F/N "Nice to meet you too". Y'all sit down and talk for about 2 hours and Y/B/F/N had to go home so you and Adam decided to go ice skating. You and Adam get to the rink and get ice skates and y'all sat down and put your skates on. Adam grabs your hands and walks onto the ice. Y'all start skating and after a while you guys get tired and decide to head to your house. When you and Adam get to your house you asked your mom if Adam can stay the night and she said yes. So you and him go upstairs and lay down on your bed. "Hey Y/N" Adam's says while sitting up. "Yeah" you say as you sit up. "Never mind" he says. "What" you say while holding his hand. "I-I want to ask you something but I don't want it mess up our friendship." It's fine you can ask me it won't mess up our
friendship" you say while rubbing your thumb on his hand. "Ok" he says while looking at his hands. "Hey don't be nervous" you say while smiling at him. "Ok" he says while getting closer to you. "Y/N" he says while rubbing your hand. "Yeah" "Will you be my girlfriend?" "Omg yes" you say while cupping his face and kissing him. "This is crazy" "what's crazy" "I've had a crush on you since we started writing to each other and now your my boyfriend". "You know the first letter that you wrote to me? "Yeah" "When I was reading your letter in class I said out loud omg he's on a hockey team and everybody in class just looked at me." "Wow that must've been embarrassing" "It was but I didn't care because I found someone who was cute and loves hockey". You and Adam start talking about hockey and school.

You and Adam get up and get dressed and go downstairs and get breakfast. While you are eating breakfast you start to stare at Adam. "Is there something on my face?" he says while wiping his mouth with a napkin "No you're just so cute". He starts blushing and you lean in and kiss him. "Hey do you want to go watch me practice?" Adam says while putting his plate in the sink. "Yeah let me get my shoes on". You and Adam head to his practice and he gets his gear on and starts practicing.
Skip to Adam's game
You and Adam head to his hockey game. You kiss him and he goes with his team to the locker room. You find somewhere to sit and wait for it to start. When the game starts you see Adam head out onto the ice and score a goal. You yell "Go Banksie" he looks at you and smiles. After the game Adam tells you that he has to head back to Minnesota. "Banksie I don't want you to go to Minnesota." you say while trying not to cry "I know baby but I have to." he says while hugging you. "Can't you ask your parents if you can stay here?" you say while looking at him. " I could call them and ask". "Ok" you say while grabbing his hand while walking to go find his parents. Adam goes up to his parents and says "Hey can I stay with Y/N until our next game?" "If it's okay with her parents then yes. "Yes" he says while hugging you
