Chapter 1

Ally P.O.V
I'm walking down the crowded school hallway with my reading glasses on. The first bell rang and I am going to be late. Due to my shortness I am getting pushed around by several other students. Why can't I be tall? Omg I'm going to be late. I hurry into my Spanish class and see Mila in her desk next to mine.
"Someone's late ", said Mila giggling.
"It's not my fault I'm short and no one listens to me ", I say. Mila continues laughing and I try to catch my breath.
"Don't worry about it the teacher is not even here yet ", says Mila. The whole class starts talking while the teacher is gone. Mila is blabbering about something she and her sister did and I am not paying attention. Instead I'm thinking about what I said earlier to her.
No one listens to me. I mean, the girls do, but like no one knows we exist. If you say Ally Brooks to someone they won't know who you are talking about. I wonder how it would feel like to be noticed, not famous, but like knowing that I exist.
I'm going to find something that makes me and the girls noticed. Something that might change us forever.
" Hello! earth to Ally! " Mila says waving her hands in front of my face.
"Oh sorry. What were you saying?", I ask Mila.
"Woah ....what was that? you were in some deep thought ", Mila said. I giggled and the teacher walked in.
"Settle down class..", he shouted. Everyone became quite and the teacher started speaking Spanish.

Camila P.O.V
When Spanish class ended I headed towards my second period class. Fortunately I had that class with Lauren. How can I describe Lauren. Hmm...lets see.. Perfect!. Yeah I have had a HUGE crush on her since like forever, but I don't have the guts to tell her. Well yeah and she is also one of my best friends so if I tell her it will ruin everything between us. As I enter geometry class I see Lauren at hr usual desk. Lauren looks up from her notebook and looks at me and smiles. Wow that smile just made my day way better. I sit next to her and start taking my binder out for geometry.
"Hey Camz ", says Lauren.
"Hey Lo ", I give a small wave and a smile. She returns to writing on her notebook and I get my calculator out.
"Are you ready for the test today?", asks Lauren.
"Of course I am.. I have been studying for this test the whole night... I think I might even get a better score than you ", I say teasing her.
"Oh is that a challenge I hear Cabello.... Oh no you don't know what you just got into, it's on ", she laughs and I just giggle. The late bell rings and the teacher starts passing out the test.
"Once you receive the test you may start ", says the teacher. As soon as I get my paper I start writing the answers.
Yep this is going to be a piece of cake.
