Chapter 1: Care of Magical Creatures

Hagrid is teaching you again. You've yet to ride Buckbeak, you found it so interesting learning about him before and wish it was you riding him, instead of Harry. You can't imagine how fun it would be to get butterflies flying in the sky laughing like you have all the time in the world.

You walk over to the forest. You're stroking your book so it doesn't attack you, there's always one person that messes it up and gets bitten. You're admiring Buckbeak, dreaming in your own world until Luna comes over.
'Hey Y/n! I see you love the Hippogriffs, so do i: i find them rather interesting.' Luna smiles at you.
'Hey Luna! Yeah i do, i have a question to ask you as well. Thestrals, why can't some others see them?' you ask politely not knowing much about them.
'Oh, well. You can only the thestrals if you've witnessed death before..' She says, as her smile fades away. 'For me, it was my mother.'
'It was my mother as well, my father didn't want to look after me after my mother had passed. He had another daughter so i was adopted by my parents now!' You tell her.
'Oh i'm sorry! Glad i could help you but the lessons starting now, care to go on a walk with me at lunch?'
'Of course!'.

You walk over to the lesson after having a good chat with Luna! You're happy you could talk to her after needing to ask her that question for a while.

Hagrid starts teaching. 'So class, from last lesson, who can tell me a fact about Buckbeak?' 'Nobody?' 'Guess i'll have to pick... Y/n, what about you, can you think of a fact about our dear Buckbeak?'
Your staring into space as you don't realise that Hagrid is talking to you.
'Y/n! Can you tell me a fact about Buckbeak?' he shouts at you.
'Oh, um. He eats ferrets?' you say embarrased, everyone was looking at you.
'Simple but true, well done!' he smiles at you.

Draco is laughing at you with Crab and Goyle since you weren't listening.
'Hey Y/l/n, what are you thinking about? obviously me, you're obsessed!' he laughs and nudges his friends.
'You wish Malfoy, get lost. Pansy's the one obsessed with you, Ferret Boy.' You laugh and walk away, Draco's offended but sends you a note just before class ends.
The note reads: 'Y/n, dont embarrass me like that again. I know you love me really.'
You laugh and shout 'You wish Malfoy' as you run off to break.

Chapter 2: The Wishing Tree

As you run off to your favourite tree, Neville stops you.
'Hi Y/n! Sorry Draco embarrassed you in Care of Magical Creatures, i wanted to stop him but had to take care of my book so it didn't tackle me to the floor again.' he apologizes to you.
'Awh that's okay Neville, i know he's joking around, trying to be cool haha.' 'Anyway N, i'm gonna go to my tree. I'll see you in defense of the dark arts. Bye!'
'Bye Y/n.' you walk to your tree, thinking about Draco.

Your thoughts:
'Do i like Draco?'
'I can't. He jokes around with me but it's unfair on myself'
'i can't like him?'
'Even if i do, i won't tell or date him.'

You hear the whistle for Defense of the Dark Arts class.

'hmm better get going.' you say under your breath.

Chapter 3: Defense of The Dark Arts

Your walking to defense of the dark arts as Draco shouts you. You mutter under your breath 'here we go again!'
'Yes Draco?' you question him.
'Walk to class with me, i have something to tell you.' he winks but you take no notice.
'So Y/n, wanna hang out with me at lunch?' he smirks.
'Hm, no thanks. I'm eating with Luna today, ferret boy.' you walk away since you don't want to get involved with him. I wish he would leave me alone, i promise to never simp over him.
You get to class and sit down, Snape is teaching you today.
'Hey Ron!' You go sit next to him.
'Oh hi! Sooo, you like Malfoy huh?' Weasley laughs.
'In his dreams! I'm focusing more on myself at the moment, trying to figure out who my parents were.' You really wish you could remember your father and find him. You were a baby when you witnessed your mother pass, you can't quiet remember what your new parents said, how she died. You were young when they told you.
'Anyway Y/n, i think i- OUCH!' Ron shouts.
'Maybe Weasley, if you wouldn't stop talking to miss/mr Y/l/n you would focus and wouldn't get hit by a book!' Snape raises his eyebrows at him. 'Everybody turn to page 394'.
