"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!! Baby guess what!" Your girlfriend, Mina Ashido squealed. It was a Friday night, and the both of you were in the main area of the dorms, you sitting on the couch and Mina in the kitchen looking on her phone. You felt a hand repeatedly tap on your shoulder. "What is is, hun?" You questioned, turning around to face the pink alien. "Tomorrow there is a pride parade being hosted, and I really wanna go!" She giggled, jumping up and down. You blushed at her cuteness.
"Well, why don't you sit down and we can look at the details together?" You smiled, pointing to the seat on the couch next to you. Mina nodded her head, and sat down next to you. The both of you scrolled through her phone, looking through the details of the pride parade hosted tomorrow. "Hmm, it seems like it starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM. Are you willing enough to get up that early to go?" You asked. She nodded her head very fast. "Mhm! I promise I will get up early! I promise, I promise!" Mina said with a huge smile. "Alrighty, so we are going to wake up at 8:30, got it?" You said. "Yup, got it!" Mina giggled.
"Well, if we expect to get up that early we should probably go to bed. It's already 11:45." You suggested. "Oooooh, good point (y/n)!" Mina nodded her head and stood up from the couch. You did the same. You gave her a kiss on her forehead, and whispered into her ear. "Goodnight, love." You quietly said, walking away into your bedroom.
~Time skip to 8:30~
You woke up to your alarm going off. You groaned and slammed it, turning it off.
Why am I waking up this early? It's the weekend.
You thought about why your awake.
Oh right! I'm taking Mina to a pride parade!
It finally came to mind. You pulled yourself out of bed, and looked through your closet. Looking through your clothes, you finally found an outfit.
Aha!
You decided to wear a black t-shirt with a red flannel and black ripped jeans. (You can change the outfit if you'd like.) You changed into your clothes, and put on sneakers. You grabbed a small rainbow pin that said 'pride' and attached it to your flannel. You exited out of your room, and waited in the main area of the dorms for your girlfriend.
After 3 minutes of waiting, out came Mina wearing a pink hoodie and black shorts, holding a mini lesbian flag. "Alright, I'm read- *gasp* oh my gosh, you look so good baby!" Mina squealed. "Thanks, you do too." You smiled, your cheeks heating up from the compliment. "So, shall we leave?" You said. "We shall." She grinned.
The two of you left the dorms, following the directions of where the pride parade was hosted. You both had eachothers hands intertwined as you walked.
~Time skip~
"We're here!" Mina gasped, looking at all the rainbow stuff everywhere. She took your hand and ran right over. "Woah, slow down hun!" You laughed. When the two of you stopped, there was person selling lgbtq stuff. "Oooh, I really like that pin! How much is it?" Mina asked. "All of my stuff is free!" They smiled. You looked at the table of stuff, to find things such as pins, flags, shirts, etc. Mina only grabbed the pin. "Thank you so much!" She giggled. "No problem!" They smiled, waving you two goodbye. You waved back, and you and Mina walked away.
There was a song playing on speakers. It was 'Born this Way' by Lady Gaga.
This was the best day ever.
