The next week had been a bust for Senpai, but he had learned quite a bit about the new demon finder and its features. For starters he could text, call and facetime anyone... as long as they also had a demon finder. He could also instantly send his location to said people, which had come in handy once or twice. Right now he was walking home, it was a long walk but he didn't have money for a bus as he spent it on food for himself. Senpai sighed, he was never going to this side of town again. Can't believe I almost got mugged... Had Updike not saved me I would be dead..!

The 'cloud man' had introduced himself to Senpai as Updike shortly after he had woken up the day after recieving the Demon Finder 2.0. Although Senpai had no luck with finding and capturing a demon, he had helped the 'cloud' a lot, to which he had repayed by saving Senpai's life multiple times.

However, today Senpai couldn't help but feel like he was being watched as he stopped by a streetlight so he could look around. He noticed a pair of eyes in a dark alleyway, and decided to investigate. Worst case scenario I call Updike and he saves me! Senpai reassured himself as he entered the alleyway. He was instantly pinned to the wall, and recognized the hands instantly as he looked to see it was none other then Lem.

"Let me guess your just checking up on me?"

"..." Lem didn't respond as he brought himself closer to Senpai.

"L... Lem..? Hello? You there?" Senpai called out, yet Lem still didn't respond.

Senpai took a good look at Lem, fear trinkling down his spine as he noticed a few differences. He looked skinnier then he normally did, his hands were in claw form now and he had a strange look in his eyes. The monster's stomach rumbled and that was all Senpai needed to hear to connect the dots: Lem was going to eat him.

Senpai acted fast, kicking the creature's stomach causing him to whine, he let go of Senpai and the boy ran. The monster was quick to act, chasing after Senpai as he turned the corner sharply. The boy realized one thing: he wasn't going to be able to outrun Lem for long. He had quickly proven said point as he became breathless, and took to a last resort as he turned into an alleyway. He saw a man there, cigarette in hand as Senpai slowed down. That was when an idea hit him, and he quickly approached said man.

"Hey kid you ok? You look a bit sha-" Senpai cut him off by hiding behind him, the man was confused and concerned.

"Hey dude is something wro-"

"I'm sorry!" Senpai pratically screeched as Lem had turned into the alleyway, and Senpai had used the smoker as a human shield.

The monster lunged forward, and Senpai heard the sound of claws cutting into human flesh. He opened his eyes to see the man had a giant hole in his chest that was currently filled with Lem's claws, he was on the verve of death as he spoke.

"Wh... why... so soon..?"

Lem's claws left the man's chest, and he fell to the ground. Lem wasted no time in undressing the man and biting into him, taking his time as he savored the taste. Senpai quietly and slowly moved back as Lem tore through the man's flesh, groans of bliss leaving him as he did so. In just a matter of a few minutes, the smoker's body was gone, and the monster seemingly snapped out of his strange trance. He looked to see Senpai, backed into the corner, little bits of blood on him as he watched.

"Senpai..? I thought you were going home?" Lem was confused how he got into this situation in the first place, the last thing he remember was following Senpai home.

"Lem, you tried to kill me..! What was that all about!?"

"Ah... I guess I spent so much time watching you that I forgot to eat! Whoops!"
