"Just one more hit!" I yelled at the screen. Come on come on. Just one moorreee- "Yesss!" I jumped in the air and ran around my room.
"Rain! Be quiet I'm in the middle of a movie!" I froze in mid celebration. I forgot my mom was still watching a movie... wait didn't she put it in at 5:30 and it's now 7:30? Quickly I walked to my door.
"Sorry mum! Hey how long is that movie?" Or maybe I should have said how long are those MOVIES.
"I don't know? 3 or 2 hours and 30 minutes? I really don't know... OHHHH SHHHH! A good part is coming up soon!" She squeals. I flinched. Here I thought the girls who squeal at school are worse. I was dead wrong.
I went back into my room and sat on my bed. As soon as I touch my bed my phone buzzes. I look down and see my cousin Jayln's name flash across my screen. "Hello this is Peggy?" I said in a German accent.
"Ha. Ha. Very funny Rain." A sarcastic voice replies to me.
" Hey Jayln how is it going down there?" I said as I jump up and down bed. Jayln has been doing a fundraiser for kids in North Carolina.
"Good so far. Hey tell your mom I said hi."
"Ok one sec..." I got up from my bed and walked to my bedroom door. Walking down the stairs quietly I thought maybe I should scare her. She would kill me. Oh well. GOOD BYE WORLD.
I finally made it down the stairs and into the living room. "Ahhhhh!!!!!!" My mom jumps up screaming"HOLY MACARONI! DON'T DO THAT TO ME RAIN!" I laughed as my mom tried to catch her breath.
"Who says that anymore?" I stared at her with my hand over my mouth trying not to lay. " I do for your information." Ok.
" Sorry mom." I said as I start to walk away. "Oh and Jayln said hi." Yelling to my mom as I walked back upstairs.
"TELL HER I SAID HI TOO!" She screamed from the living room.
"Will do!" Shouting back as I close my door. Now where was I... Oh yea playing video games.
-next day-
BEEEP.... BEEEP.... BEE-" Stupid clock. Stupid school." I mumbled into my pillow. If you were to hear it, I would sound like... Well something. As I drift back to sleep my door suddenly banged open. Making me fall to the floor with a thud. " WHAT IN THE BANANA WORLD WAS THAT FOR!"
" Ok here is what I thought you could wear to school." Did she not hear me?
"Claire." I said blankly.
"Ohhhh this will look perfect!"
"Claire." She put her finger on my lips.
"Hush child. Now go try these on." There was no way I was getting out of this. Last time we argued about this, I got a detention for being late. Yeah I know we we fight until we get an agreement, and that takes at least and hour or so. Walking into my bathroom I look at the clothes she had picked out. Hmmm not bad at all. That still doesn't mean I don't hate her for waking me up. What a girl needs beauty sleep.
I walked back into my room. Clair squealed in delight." Omg! You look hot sista! If I were a guy, I would tap dat." Ok... " Hey hurry up and eat we have school!" Curse you school. Curse you. If school wasn't invented, I would... Well I don't know? Without school there will be no technology. Without technology there will be no video games! THAT IS JUST CRUEL! I hate you world.
Finally we were on our way to school. I hate that word...
" Claire I'm going to head to my locker. See yeah in first hour." I waved as I walk away.
"Ok! See you in first hour then!"Claire yelled as she too walked away to the popular kids. You see I'm the gamer/ nerd girl. While Claire she is the popular girl, but she is is one of those nice kinds not the type with cake faces and with minions following behind.
" Ok welcome back to science class from break! This week we are going to start of with a project about and animal!" Everyone in the class groans " and with partners! But I'm going to chose." More and more groans were heard. Great. Now I might be stuck with someone who will make me do all the work! Can this day get any worse?
" Chris and Isabell. Claire and-" please be me please be me." Jacky." Gahhhhhhhh . "Xavier and Rain" I feel bad for that per- I HATE THE UNIVERSE! I banged my head on the desk over and over. " Rain are you ok" I looked up and felt everyone eyes on me.
"I'm ok sir." I said in a peachy voice.
