3 Months Later..."You Have Fifteen Minutes!" The Correctional Officer Said. I Nodded As I Walked Into The Visitation Room Where Corey Was Waiting On Me. He Stood Up And Hurried Towards Me.
"Hey Baby!" I Said, As I Hugged Him Tight.
"Hey Ma." He Said. He Kissed Me Long And Hard. He Then Lead Me To The Sitting Area And We Sat Down. I Then Grabbed Our Now One Month Old Daughter From Her Car Seat And Handed Her To Him. He Was In Awe As He Stared At Her.
"She Is Beautiful. What Name Did You Finally Pick Out For Her?" He Asked.
"Aubree Isabella." I Said.
"See I Knew You Liked The Name Aubree!" He Said.
"It Grew On Me!" I Said Laughing. He Laughed As He Kissed Her Little Forehead. I Wave Of Sadness Came Over Me As I Watched Him Interact With His Daughter For The First Time.
"What's Wrong Ma?" He Asked.
"Nothing...How Are You Though?" I Asked As We Sat Down.
"I'm Good. Hell....Tryna Make It." He Said.
"That's Good. How's Isaiah And Vic?" I Asked.
"They Cool. Ready To Get Out This Bitch Just Like Everybody Else." He Said.
"I Can Only Imagine." I Said. He Frowned As He Looked At Me.
"What's Wrong Isis?" He Asked. I Shook My Head.
"Don't Spit No Bullshit To Me Man. What's Wrong?" He Snapped.
"This Is Like...The Only Time We'll Have This Family Moment. She'll Be Five When You Get Out And It Isn't Fair To Her." I Said.
"I Know It's Fucked Up, But Check This Out. When I Get Out...Ima Make It Up To You Both. Just Hold Me Down While I'm In Here." He Said.
"You Know I Will." I Said. He Leaned Over And Kissed Me.
"Times Up!" The Officer Yelled. He Kissed Aubree And Handed Her Back To Me. I Quickly Buckled Her Into Her Seat And Stood Up. He Hugged Me Tight And Kissed Me.
"I Love You Isis. Don't Forget That." He Said.
"I Love You Too. Be Careful." He Said. I Nodded As I Grabbed The Car Seat And Walked Out Of The Door.

Aubree Was Fast Asleep On My Chest As I Watched TV. The House Was Extremely Quiet And It Was Very Depressing. There Was A Light Knock On My Door As My Mom Walked In.
"Hey Sweetie. I Cleaned The Living Room, The Kitchen, And Put The Dog Away. Do You Need Anything Else Before I Go?" She Asked.
"No. Thanks For Helping Me Out." I Said. She Nodded As She Grabbed Aubree And Laid Her In Her Bassinet.
"Get Some Rest Sweetie. I'll Be Back In The Morning." She Said.
"Mom Wait." I Said. She Nodded And Sat Down.
"What's Wrong?" She Asked.
"Will This Get Any Easier?" I Asked.
"Honestly No. It'll Get Harder Before It Gets Easier, But You Have A Great Support System. You'll Be Fine." She Said.
"I Hope So." I Said. She Kissed My Forehead And Stood Up.
"Goodnight Sweetie. Love You." She Said As She Walked Out Of My Bedroom. I Sighed As I Got Up And Looked At My Sleeping Daughter. She Resembled Corey So Much That It Was Ridiculous. I Slid My Index Finger Gently Across Her Cheek Making Her Smile A Bit. I Giggled As I Laid Back Down. I Know This Was Going To Be Hard, But I'm Ready For Whatever Life Has Planned For Me. I Glanced At The Pictures Of Me And Corey And Smiled.
"I'll Definitely Wait For You." I Said To Myself.
