Somewhere in the future...
The scene reveals many dead bodies on the floor: a fallen Knight, Marine, a team of heroes from Remnant, a Mandalorian, numerous Jedi and Sith, and a Destiny player barely alive with his Ghost destroyed. Among the creators, Alpha, Jay, Cmonkey, AmericanFlatcap, Hitman, Ryan, and Divine lay dead on the ground.
Blue, with his helmet cracked, clutches his wound. He never imagined how far and twisted things would become when pulled from his world to save this one. After the true horrors the group faced, they were all dead at the hands of one Yandere girl named Ruby Rose, a supposed Huntress and hero of Remnant turned evil.
With Ruby defeated and the damage done, the world began to shake as the group failed to stop what was coming. Blue readied his pistol to kill the cultist coming to finish him off, but he heard more gunfire outside the room and the slash of a sword cutting one down.
Before Blue could question what was happening, the door was suddenly kicked open, revealing a dead cultist on the floor. Three people walked in.
"Seems like we arrived on time," spoke an American WWI soldier.
Two others entered: a Japanese man holding a samurai sword and a Russian with a shotgun, cocking it back to empty the shell.
"What the hell? Who the fuck are you guys?" Blue asked.
"Well, not on time, Dempsey... we just got one alive," the Russian said.
"While the rest died an honorable death, Nikolai... they dealt with a great evil here," the Japanese man said.
"Whatever you say, Takeo," Nikolai replied.
"This is strange... all the islands we've been to are places we've been before or needed to go... but this world, how is it connected to anything?" A fourth person entered, talking to himself. Seeing Blue staring at him, he began to question him.
"Excuse me, spaceman... has anything like a zombie apocalypse happened on this island?" the German doctor asked.
"Uh, yeah! We went through hell fighting one crazy love-struck girl who wanted to kill everyone so she could be with her fuckboy and brought the whole zombie thing here," Blue said.
"Hmm, I see," the doctor said.
"Come on, Richtofen! We're wasting our time here," Dempsey said.
"Of course, Dempsey... I see you're always impatient about everything, American," Richtofen said, finishing his questioning of Blue. He turned to the others.
"Okay, we need to keep moving. We just need to break the cycle and save the universe," Richtofen said.
"Wait, what will happen to me since you guys aren't going to help me?" Blue asked.
"To answer that question, stupid one. You'll most likely die like your friends here... and once you do, everything will start over for you. This is an eternal cycle. We've probably had this conversation thousands of times, kid. And we'll have it a thousand times more with almost no recollection of the previous," Richtofen explained.
Just as Richtofen finished explaining, they watched Blue bleed out to death. Seeing this, Richtofen sighed.
"I still don't understand why we didn't help him, German," Nikolai said.
"At this point, Nikolai, it's to be expected since this has happened multiple times," Richtofen said.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and the floor cracked open, revealing bright lights.
"Ah... look, the cycle is beginning again... we must go now before we're swallowed by the dark hole, ja?" Richtofen said as he walked out of the room.
Seeing no other way to argue, Nikolai, Dempsey, and Takeo followed him out. In the distance, a person wearing a broken Stormtrooper helmet watched this unfold.
"No... no, NO! Damn it, the cycle is beginning again! I have to stop it!" I yelled as I watched.
I pulled out an old, fresh journal. As I opened the very back page, I began to write, speaking to myself.
"My work of age should have helped them... but the past self needs to get ready for the journey ahead. He must know... he and the others must know before all this happens," I said as I wrote on the last page of the journal with a marker: "Break the Cycle!"
Closing the journal, I looked at the world about to reset. I threw my journal in as a bright flash covered the world of Remnant, resetting all the events to the very beginning...
Which all began on the airship, dropping off the fresh batch of students. Among them, one student wore a Stormtrooper helmet, getting his bags ready as the students began to unload...
