Cloaked Hearts

Prologue

~Theo Hall~

I'm Theo nineteen. I live in Park City and have a girlfriend, Emma, with whom things have been a little bit difficult lately. She is always out there tracking me and I can't stand it and as sad as it makes me to say it, my feelings for her are the first victims. I had to make a decision as I was going crazy because of her lack of confidence due to her first boyfriend who cheated on her; I'm going to end things with her as soon as the occasion shows up.

Did I tell you I also have a sister ? A twin, Lena who makes my life hell because "she is fourteen minutes older than me" like she likes to explain it. Truth is, she is not always that bad and the fact that we are twins is a plus since we understand each other easily and have some sort of connexion. We get along pretty well most of the time (when she is not being a little bitch).

We help our parents at their hotel when we are free or have nothing else to do.

I hate this period of the year, our town is full of people from all sides of the United States who came to ski and trust me there is nothing worse than kiddos fighting in the snow early in the morning. Torture might start anytime, the first snowflakes have already appeared.

~Nina Davis~

I'm Nina, I am eighteen and a senior in high school. I live with my father in Massachusetts, my mother and brother are based in France.

Our parents had a divorce two years ago, Lucas and I agreed to not let none of them alone and since I did not really felt like going to Europe I stayed with my dad but I miss both of them badly.

I am leaving for my ski trip with school tomorrow morning and my two best friends Sofia & Kylie are coming over tonight so that we can prepare our suitcases all together.

I am really looking forward to this trip, Park City has a special place in my heart. My family and I used to spend every winter vacation there, it once had been the moment of the year I was most excited about.
