I know, I know, no one likes the author's note, but it's got to be done. I want to be as transparent as possible about Ultraviolet before we get into it.
First off, yes, this is a crossover between the MCU and Supernatural. However, this isn't going to be super... involved with either canon. If I had to choose, I'd say it leans more Supernatural, but Ultraviolet features an entirely original plot and mostly original characters. As such, even if you don't watch one canon or the other, I think you could probably find something in this fic. Read, don't read, whatever.
Second off, the disclaimer. Any characters, events, places, organizations, and references that you recognize as being from the MCU, Supernatural, or any other media that might get mentioned over the course of the story, I don't own them. Nor am I trying to claim that I own them. What I do own are most of the characters, the plotline, and a handful of other odds and ends.
Thirdly, there's something to be said about trigger warnings or similar. I'm not going to put warnings on every chapter or anything like that--it strikes me as excessive--but I'll say right here that this fic will include violence, mild infrequent language, and death. There might be things I've missed, of course, but if this were a movie, it'd be PG-13. If you know you're easily triggered, then proceed with caution.
Fourthly, and I think finally, this whole thing is prewritten. I might be doing edits as I post (read: definitely will--I really can't help myself), but the basic plot and structure is totally complete. Like I said, I want to be transparent about this whole deal.
