Izuku took a puff of his cigarette, blowing the smoke into the air as he relaxed in his chair.

"Any ideas on what you are gonna make for the Support course entrance exams?" He asked a pink haired girl hunched over a workbench.

"Yeah I've got an idea or two, but seriously Midoriya you gotta stop smoking it's a terrible habit especially for a kid" said the girl turning around setting her behind against the edge of the workbench crossing her arms

"Maybe I will, maybe I won't" Izuku shrugged, rising from his chair "either way I know what I'm gonna make" he said going over to his side of the garage they used as a workshop.

He hunched over the blueprints for his newest creation. He began his project by making a simple belt that wouldn't break with a lot of weight applied to it.

Once he finished he got to work manipulating metal with his tools to fit the form he wanted. Two metal rectangular cases with 4 slots in each. On the top of each there was a space that would fit cans of compressed air.

He then made a metal cartridge on the back of the belt with two cones that would fit tubes that connected to the air canisters that fed into one central unit that would propel the air out forcefully at high speeds.

He attached all these to the belt before getting to work to making wires not meant to conduct electricity but to hold the weight of a person.

By the time he was done with the first wire of the two he was planning on making he got a tap on the shoulder. It was Mei.

He quickly covered up his project and turned around. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow

"Yes?" He asked her.

She pointed at the clock on the far wall. It was 1 in the morning. He had started working around 11 hours ago.

"You should head home and get some rest" she said "I won't touch your precious work" she said sarcastically

"I'll leave later. I'm not bothering your parents am I?" Mei looked down. Her parents had been gone for a few years leaving her behind with only enough money to last a month.

"I'm sorry Mei, that was low" he pulled her into a hug, comforting her and running his hands through her hair.

"It's fine" she said tightening her arms around him. "We're in the same boat aren't we?" She looked up and smiled at him sadly.

"Yeah" he said smiling back at her. "I'll go home and get some rest. But only if you also take a break from working for now"

She pouted. "Fiiiiine" she said before letting go of him. She went upstairs and changed into pajamas and Izuku tucked her into bed.

"Goodnight Mei"

"Goodnight Midoriya"

Izuku left the room and turned off the lights in the house before walking out the front door and locking it. As he walked home he heard a lot of loud noises then an explosion.

He ran over towards the noise and saw a fight between a hero and a villain. The villain who was made of flames was battling a hero with an Ice based quirk. Not a good matchup at all.

The villain managed to land a solid hit on the hero knocking him back into a car, the hero yelling in pain.

The villain walked over the the hero, looming over him. He raised his arm and went in for the kill before getting hit in the back by a blast of electricity.

He turned around to see Izuku holding a pistol that was modified to hold a high wattage power cell in its magazine slot and the barrel customized to fire the energy out in blasts.

The villain turned his attention away from the hero, instead focusing on Izuku. The villain said nothing instead blasting Izuku dead in the arm with a fireball, burning him intensely.

He fell over in pain grasping his arm that was completely burned. He couldn't feel it anymore. The nerves were burned to a crisp. He couldn't move his arm. He looked up the villain now standing over him.

The villain prepared one last fireball before being shot in the back with a giant spike of ice, courtesy of the hero who shortly after collapsed, dead, on the sidewalk along with the fire villain who did the same.

"Kid are you ok?"
