The next day came and Dahyun was going back to work. But before she could head out the door, Mina hugged Dahyun from the back. Dahyun embraced her best friend and smiled sweetly.

"Are you sure you're okay now?" Mina asked worriedly.

"Yeah..." Dahyun sighed deeply.

"Forget about your past, Dahyun. We'll be fine." Mina let go and held Dahyun's shoulders.

'I can't tell you the truth, Dahyun. The truth will hurt you. No matter how bad I want to, I can't tell you that your father is alive and is paralyzed in a hospital.' Mina thought.

"I should get going now, penguin." Dahyun smiled and opened the door.

"Hwaiting, eagle!" Mina cheered and waited for Dahyun to close the door.

She immediately took out her phone and dialed the same number she called at the plane.

"Hello? Today at three, right?" Mina spoke. "I'll meet you there."

-At MNTZK Corporation-

As soon as Dahyun got out of the elevator, she realized the workplace became dull and a bit lifeless. In the span of a week, MNTZK Corporation went back to being a bland company.

"Dahyun's back!" Nayeon squealed and went up to hug Dahyun. "Yah! Where have you been?! One second, boss was carrying you in bridal style with Mina beside her. Then you don't show up for a week. Now you're here?!"

"Sana- I mean b-boss carried me in bridal style..?" Dahyun blushed.

"Yeah! You had a really high fever and you were paler than usual." Jeongyeon came and hugged Dahyun as well.

"Yah, Yoo Jeongyeon! I was here first!" Nayeon yelled at Jeongwhile while Jeongyeon stuck her tongue out at her.

"KIM DAHYUN!~" A loud voice screamed, it sounded motherly.

"Jihyo-Unnie!" Of course it was Jihyo.

"Are you okay now? Are you still sick?" Jihyo asked worriedly and held both of Dahyun's arms.

"I'm fine now, Unnie." Dahyun chuckled.

"Dahyun?" Another female voice called, it seemed to be Momo.

"Momo-Unnie!"

"Tzuyu-ah! Dahyun's back!" Momo said happily and signaled Tzuyu to come closer.

"DAHYUN-UNNIE!" Tzuyu exclaimed and ran towards dahyun with her long legs.

"TzuTzu!" Dahyun hugged Tzuyu.

"Everyone, back to work. Just because Dahyun is back, doesn't mean you can stop working to hover over her like dogs who greet their owners after they come home." Sana said coldly, the pitter-patter of her heels being heard.

Dahyun just walked past Sana and went to her desk.

"Good morning, welcome back to work." Sana greeted Dahyun but the latter didn't even look up from her files.

"Umm, are you feeling better?" Sana asked but got no response.

"Dahyun, I'm asking you something. Answer me." Sana said to Dahyun, a hint of coldness in her voice.

"You made her mad last night, for your information." Chaeyoung informed Sana as she passed by and went directly to her own office.

"Is it about the text message?" Sana questioned confusedly. "Look, I'm sorry-"
