-"I've long forgotten what it's like, seeing the world."

            A blink, and a pause. Slow breaths filled his confinement. Taking in his surroundings, he could feel his chest move up and down with every breath he took. Looking through those tinted walls, ever so old as they were. He was trapped, for how long? He hadn't known. All he knew was the dripping of the cave walls and the very same stalactites that had been there years ago. 

           Drip, drip, drip. It was all he ever heard. He believed he'd never hear a different sound. Alone with his thoughts in an empty place. Where did it all begin...? How did he get here...? And more importantly, he thought, why did this happen..? Was it all, truly his fault? He breathed in once more. Maybe, just maybe, if he thought of it all from the beginning, maybe then he might be able to pick up on something...
