"its colder than usual today" you said holding the couch's pillow that was in your friend's laboratory, he was now making experiments with some strange liquids.

"aren't you cold?"
Albedo looked up to you, pointing his gaze from the desk to you.

"I am used to it, it is always cold here... how about you, shouldn't you go back to the Knights of Favonious headquarters?"

"the headquarters are too far from there, I don't wanna walk~ besides, if i came back now, Jean would get really mad" the Dandelion Knight can be really scary sometimes... you thought, holding the pillow tighter.

"I see... what do you want for dinner? This morning I went out with Klee for *cough cough* fish blasting and we got a lot of fish, is it okay to you?"
Albedo said, smiling at you

he rarely smiled in front of the others, but he did it quite often when he was with you.
that smile of his warmed the room, that slight redness on his cheeks caused by the cold made him even cuter

"thank you" was all you were able to say, blinded by his gorgeous smile

"It will be ready in a minute then"

the dinner was delicious, he not only was a genius, but a great chef too, even if it takes him a lot of time to make something.
it was really quiet, Albedo wasn't the type who gets into chit-chats, but sometimes he comes up with some interesting arguments in which you didn't mind joining, and these small conversations filled your evening.

time quickly passed by and night came

"How about sleeping on my bed for tonight?"
this caught you off guard, you blushed at the sentence and choked on the water you were drinking.

"...i don't have a spare bed and i sincerly wouldn't mind sleeping with you for today, if you're comfortable with that i would be... really happy"

you've known him for a long time now, he was your buddy: he was really nice with everyone, he had such nice manners and... it seems like he cared about you a lot, he was perfect, but...

"Hey, are you okay?" your thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the person who you were thinking about, his face was only inches away from yours and had a worried expression on it.

"y-yeah it would be really nice of you!! thank you!! besides, it would be too cold to sleep on the couch..."
he gently smiled and patted your head

"Okay, get ready then, i will sing you a song before going to sleep"

you slightly blushed, you've been able to hear him sing just once while he was making some experiments, but he stopped as soon as he saw you.

the star in the sky were so bright that night, it would be nice to watch them with him someday from somewhere high...

the songs words and his voice touched your heart, you felt like you were going to cry, but it was a good feeling, like something awakened from your feelings, something that you've always wanted to feel and show

at the last three words he looked at you smiling, but instead of returning the smile you started to cry

you loved him so much that it hurted, you wanted to tell him how much you loved him and how much you wanted to be happy with him but you couldn't you were scared of the consequences "what if he doesn't want to be my friend anymore? what if he makes fun of me? i cant even express how i feel right now..."

he carelessly wiped the tears from your eyes

you stopped and you couldn't say anything,
everything happened so suddenly

"You don't need to say anything, I am sorry, I just... couldn't keep it for me anymore, I love you so much and I want you to know that you're loved and appreciated"
he suddenly pulled you into a soft and gentle kiss, carelessly wiping the tears off your cheeks.

those blue eyes which reminded you of the sky you saw that night,
