Six Flags

It's spring of 2021 and we are at 6 flags.

I don't know how we have gotten this far. We are a weird group. I would like to say it was fate but it wasn't. When covid started I realized I was losing some of my friends so I brought together a small group of 3 other kids. Slowly we grew, taking in new people and growing closer. Within less then a year we are a close knit group of 8, almost 9. I've never been this close with such a nice, drama free, fun group. They truly are the best. One of the original kids in the group loves rollercoasters. I mean who doesn't. So in October, when we were a little more comfortable with each other and covid, we went to six flags. It was just 3 of us at the time, only 4 in the group. But we went. It was amazing. We went on a ton of rides, got a ton of ice-cream, and had a great time. If you want a full circle, we have gone 3 times since then and another in a few days for that original kids birthday. Anyways, at that time the 3 of us were really close, we still are. We decided try and stay as long as we could. So while it was still a little light out we went on a ride. When we were getting on, the sun started to set. At one point on the ride we were facing the sunset, at the top of the ride. It felt like a dream. The sight was too gorgeous for words and I had nothing in my head but "wow". The purples and blues mixed in with each other as if someone was painting the sky. I have never experienced something better. Then just as quickly as it started, it ended. The ride went down, stealing our already stolen breath. The rest of that night is a blur. But that didn't matter. That image was stuck in my head for the rest of my life.
