Someone's POV
Summer break, Zach never expected to spend it like this but he was. His parents worked with the Ministry of Magic and they have been busy ever since he arrived from Hogwarts. Zach has been all alone well with Hocus, at his house in the forest. He wanted to spend it with his parents but he couldn't since every day they had to stay at work. It made Zach feel neglected, though he knew they needed the money due to not having enough since their family vault is in America and well they aren't welcome there. To entertain himself Zach reread all his books and sometimes played with the muggle artifact his uncle sent him. When he was bored of reading or using the muggle artifacts, he drew or practiced Quidditch. He wants to get into the team so he wants to improve as much as he can. From Morning to Night time, it was all Zach had to do. Sometimes he went on walks with Hocus who was a bit bigger and chunky since Zach has been giving him more food lately. But what helped Zach stay Zane were the letters from his friends. Just now Rudy had brought him some. After He had a walk he went to his room and sat on his desk and began reading them.
Zach's POV
Dear Richardson,
How is your summer? Mine is boring, My little sister who is just one year younger is excited to go to Hogwarts this year. She almost died of joy when her letter came. She is hoping to be in Slytherin but I think she doesn't have the qualities of a Slytherin. She is more of a Hufflepuff but then again. Granger has the Ravenclaw qualities and she was sorted into Gryffindor. Maybe the Hat is old? My grandparents don't understand Hogwarts either. They say it will never be as good as Ilvermony. But I bet they never had adventures there so I Guess Hogwarts wins. Hope To see you again. And i you tell someone I said that I will not hesitate to break your arms.
Gabrielle Rodriguez.
"I forgot how scary she can be when she is angry. I Better not tell anyone for my health." I said softly as Hocus jumped to my bed and I opened the Next letter.
Dear Richardson,
Did I ever tell you that half my family is from France? Well, my Mother who is a Witch is from France and we went to visit her family. According to my mother, We haven't been there ever since I was three years old. My Aunt, Uncle, and cousin are cool. My eldest Cousin attends Beauxbaton. My dad is a Muggle-born and he attended Hogwarts. He was in Hufflepuff too though when he finished Hogwarts, he decided to go back to the muggle world and work at my grandmother's bakery. It is weird. Both my family have different traditions and like different things yet there is complete harmony. I guess differences are what makes us better. Enough about me. If I remember correctly you are American right? Are you visiting your family? Is American food good? and how is The American Wizarding School i bet you know all about it. Maybe you can tell me how everything is. I await you owl patiently and eager to learn about America.

"Even in letters, I can feel his enthusiasm. But he is a great friend I'll write everything he asked to know and I guess I'll give him more info." I said softly Turning to a Letter with beautiful and Perfect handwriting with a messy and disorganized one.
Dear Zach,
How have you been this summer? Has Harry written to You? I worried. He hasn't been responding to my letters or Ron's. I thought Maybe he wrote to you. I hope Harry is okay, and my summer is going great. My family trip was awesome. Though Hector is being a bit immature, that's how you boys are. He is also worried about Harry, even if he doesn't want to accept it, and well he kind of hates Ron. He and Ron will one day kill each other if their feud continues. I like how you try so hard to show Ron that not all Slytherins are evil twats. That Gabrielle girl seems nice once you get to know her and my brother may be a prat but he is the nicest and most caring guy out there. well, not more than You Zach. Oh, You mentioned in your last letter that you have been alone what do you mean by that? Did your parents leave without you on a trip? I doubt that I've read how you talk about them in your letters, and they don't seem to be bad people if you could elaborate about it in your next letter it would be a pleasure.
