Snack Catastrophe

Kimberly's POV

Riiiiinggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was the bell.

It means its already Snack Time.

Time Check: 9:45

I have 15 minutes to tour him around the campus.

"Classmates, Are you ready to pray?", Julius started the prayer.

BTW, before we eat our snack, we pray.

"Yes we are", we all responded.

We did the sign of the cross and began our prayer.

"Bless us O Lord, in these thy gifts, which we are about to recieve from thy bounty through Christ our Lord. Amen", we all prayed in unison.

After doing the sign of the cross, my classmates hurriedly went outside.

Shane was waiting by the door.

Joshua and I started to walk toward her.

"Come on", she greeted,"We can tour him in 10 minutes so we can still have time to eat our snack".

"Great Idea", I replied, "Come on Joshua".

I tugged him out of the classroom.

Our first stop was the canteen.

Many students like to eat snacks by the canteen.

There are groups of girls and boys hanging out.

Next stop was the respective classrooms.

After the classrooms, we also went to other parts of our school".

After 10 minutes, we are done.

"So, Joshua", I said,"If you need anything just ask us".

"Ummmm...", he said,"Can I eat with you guys, I still have no friends her  since I am a transferree".

"Sure", Shane replied,"It's okay with us, Right Sis!"

"Yup", I nodded.

"Thank You" he said thankfully.

Wait.

Why did I agree?

Maybe I am just being nice.

Its the first time to hang out with a boy.

Maybe, I'll get used to it sice I need to be with Joshua.

We went to find a table and ate our snacks.

Shane and I are chatting while Josua is just eating his snack quietly.

Shane must've noticed because she left us two and get us drinks.

Her treat.

I must say, he's really a quiet person.

"Hey", I said trying to entertain him because he looks bored.

He smiled.

"So, how's your first day of school", I asked.

"I'm still not used to it but I'm happy because..." he replied.

"Because of what?", I asked consciously.

"Ummmm...." he  said.

"Kim!", Shane shouted, "A little help here!".

She was holding a tray of three bottles of fruit drink and was about to pay but her hands are full.

"Wait up!", I called back.

I hurriedly ran towards her and helped her with the drinks.

Aster he paid the drinks, I volunteered to carry it all the way to our table.

While I was walking, I looked to the drinks to make sure it won't fall.

Then suddenly, I bumped into someone that made us to get wet.

"Ohhh... Sorry", I apoloized, " My bad".

When I looked up, it was Joauquin Manansala with some of our classmates.
