Chap.12

*thinking*

3rd person view:

"Okay, wait here." Luca tells Emmett and walk a little bit further. He turns to Emmett and takes a breath closing his eyes. A little while later the shadows circle him and then swallow him whole. A moment later where Luca once was now stands a shadow fox. Emmett looks shocked. Luca lets out a little yip. "What...that's awesome!" Emmett yells with a big smile walking forwards. Luca bears his teeth a little when Emmett gets too close for comfort. Emmett stops and sits down on the ground holding his hand out to Luca. "It's okay. I would never hurt you." He says  softly and smiles at Luca gently. Luca stares at Emmett awhile and then decides to go to him. Touching his nose to Emmetts hand he looks up at him. Emmett gives a huge smile and slowly pets the foxes head. Luca lays down and closes his eyes. " Wow." Emmett whispers. Suddenly Luca open his eyes and stand up. Glancing at Emmett he nips at his fingers and runs away from him. "Hey! I see how it is." Emmett says and stands up with a smile. "Okay, but just know that i will catch you!" Emmett yells and then runs after the fox. 

After awhile Luca stops close to his house and sits down on a rock to wait for Emmett. A couple seconds later Emmett stops in front of him. " Okay, but you only won because you got a head start!" Emmett whines. Luca hops down and turns back into a human. "Yeah keep telling yourself that Cullen." he smirks at Emmett. "It's true! I want a rematch." Emmett tells Luca. "Perhaps another time. I'm gonna go to sleep now." Luca tells him back and starts to walk towards his house. Emmett follows him and starts walking next to Luca. "That's your home? It's nice." Emmett says looking at the house.

"Yeah...By the way, don't tell anyone about what we did." Luca says sternly to Emmett glaring at him. "You mean only about me petting you or about the whole cute fox thing?" Emmett asks. " The petting thing. And it's not a cute fox!" Luca exclaims. " Oh it so is! I don't really get why i can't tell about it, but if you don't want me to then i wont. You can trust me Luca." Emmett says. Stopping at the door Luca looks back at Emmett. After awhile trying to see if he was lying and coming up with nothing he smiles a little. Emmetts eyes widen. "Yeah, maybe i can. See ya later Emmett." Luca says and gets inside closing the door. Emmett stands still for a moment not comprehending if that really happened. Getting out of it he smiles the biggest smile ever and leaves. 

Emmett pov:

Walking back home i could not help but think back to Luca. He finally smiled AND called me by my name. Not to mention the fox thing. I feel like i'm finally getting closer to him and maybe have a chance. I can't wait to see everyone's faces when i tell them Luca can turn into a shadow fox. Chuckling i start to speed home. *I was right though...he really is beautiful when smiling.*

Luca pov:

After hearing Emmett leave i walk to my couch and lay down. Thinking back to what happened i can't believe what i did. Did i really let him pet me? And all that other stuff too. "Well it seems i'm losing my mind. But...i suppose it was not that bad." I whisper. Perhaps its okay to give him a chance. *We will see...*

(Okay hello again! It's been awhile sorry for that. Thanks for everyone reading this and liking it. This is a little shorter but i have some ideas for what i would like to happen next so hopefully i will update soon. I would like to know if you want something specific or if you have any other suggestions. Thanks!)
