Preformances

The night of the event, Nathalie was sitting in the guest room that Gabriel was letting her stay in, he knocked on the door.

N- Come in!

G- I have a suprise for you, Nat.

He opened the door widely and revealed the long blue dress, Nathalie stared at it.

N- It's beautiful, Gabriel..

G- Put it on, I'll change into my outfit aswell and I'll meet you at the front door. I'm so excited to see how it looks on you.

He left the room and Nathalie lay the dress down on the bed.

D- It looks even better than Nooroo described it, try it on Mrs.Nathalie! I'm super excited.

N- It looks like it's comfortable enough for me to sing all night, it still looks amazing.

She went into the bathroom and put on the dress, she came out with her hair down.

D- Huh! Mrs. Nathalie you look so beautiful!

The dress was navy blue and had one sleeve, the other was sparkly mesh that was a dark purple shade and the slit in the dress was up to the lower half of her thigh, she slipped into blue heels with only a small heel and got ready. She sat on the side of the tub again as Duusu brushed her hair and did her makeup, Nathalie grabbed her glasses, but decided to use her contacts instead, she hadn't used any in a while, but she always had some incase her glasses broke. She put them in and looked at herself in the mirror, Duusu had left her hair down, Nathalie put her own mascara on. She went down the stairs to the door, where Gabriel waited for her, in a navy blue suit and smiled widely when he saw her, she still had the peakoc broach pinned on ther dress.

G- You look.. amazing!

N- Thanks, Duusu helped me a bit, I can't take credit for everything.

G- Ready? 

N- I'm a bit nervous. What about you?

G- I'm a little shaky, but fine, we've been practicing, I'm sure you'll forget about everything once we arrive, just think ignore everyone else and just focus on the melody.

N- Are you going to have the music?

G- Yes, just incase I need it, do you want the lyrics?

N- I've memorised them, I stutter when I read out loud, I'll just close my eyes and sing like I normally do.

G- Alright, let's get going then.

He took her hand and opened the doors, they got into the limo and the gorilla drove them to the event, wich was held underneath the eiffel tower, there were a lot of people there already, but on the stage, there was a piano and a microphone. Nathalie couldn't breathe, she was comfortable in the dress, but she didn't expect so many people.

G- We can still cancel.

N- No, I will do it!

He smiled as they pulled up to the entrance, the organizer came over to them immediately.

...- Ah, Gabriel, Miss Sanceour, how nice to see you!

G- Hello, sir. 

...- Right around here to the stage entrance sir.

They went around the tables holding the wine and alcohol, up to the stage and got set up for their preformance. Nathalie was reading over the lyrics and tunes and humming it in her head, she started pacing and Gabriel grabbed her wrist.

G- Are you ready, Nat?

N- Let's do this.

The organiser came onto the stage once everyone had arrived, Nadja Schamack was there with the news team to film their preformance, Adrien was watching with Plagg from home, so were all of his classmates.

...- Hello everyone and welcome! Thank you for coming tonight, we have a special preformance from Gabriel Agreste and Nathalie Sanceour. Gabriel and Nathalie everyone!

He stepped aside and Nathalie came up to the mic, she was smiling and closed her eyes as Gabriel started to play. Once she started singing she felt calm and she could hear the crowd uttering suprised gasps, Gabriel kept playing song after song and once they were finished preforming they audience clapped loudly. Nathalie was smiling widely and so was Gabriel, happy beyond words.

G- I knew you could do it, Nat.

N- I did do it, huh?

G- You sure did.

They waved and got off of the stage, the official DJ the organiser had booked took over, Nathalie and Gabriel went over to the table for a drink. Nadja came over to them as soon as they had picked up a drink.

Nad- Hello Mr. Agreste, Mrs. Sanceour. How do you think your preformance went?

N- I'm not sure, I feel pretty confident about it.

G- I had my full confidence doing the duet with Nathalie.

Nad- How did you meet? Why did you decide to do do this preformance tonight?

G- We met in high school, I knew she was a good singer just by the way she spoke.

N- I wouldn't sing with him then, but I decided to tonight.

Nad- Why did you choose tonight?

N- I felt tonight would be the right time.

Nad- Do you plan to make a career with your vocal talents?

N- No, I'm not a singer.

The quick interview ended and Nadja went home with the news crew, Nathalie took a sip of her wine and sat down, Gabriel sat beside her. 

...- That was amazing, I'm so glad you guys preformed.

G- Of course.

The organiser left them alone, Gabriel clenched and un clenched his fists.

N- What's wrong?

G- Nothing, my fingers are a bit cold is all.

N- Here.

She set down her wine glass and held both of his hands in hers, he blushed. Then once his hands were warmer, she let go. One of the waiters kept coming over and re-filling their glasses over and over, Gabriel drank his, but not as much as Nathalie. At one point she got up to go to the bathroom, and someone stopped her and tried to kiss her, Gabriel stood up, but Nathalie kicked the side of his head and had him in an arm bar, she pushed him over and went to the bathroom. She came back and sat down beside Gabriel.

G- Are you okay?

N- Mmph

G- Maybe we'd better go home now, you look tired.

N- No, I just drank too much..

G- Alright, don't hesitate to tell me if you want to go home.

N- Let's dance!

She ran into the crowd of people dancing, pulling Gabriel through the crowd by the hand. She wasn't acting nervous or even sophisticated, he'd never seen this side of her, she started dancing and he eventually joined her, she was still smiling from when she was done singing. Gabriel loved seeing her this happy, eventually she tired herself out and asked to go home after another glass of wine.

G- Alright, let's get you home.

He brought her over to the limo and the gorilla drove them back home, she fell asleep in the back seat and Gabriel brought her inside. Adrien was asleep when they got in, so Gabriel went straight to Nathalie's room.
