Chapter 3 : Warning

As soon as we all took our seats the so called meeting began. It wasn't really a meeting because I knew how this would end . Max would walk away in no trouble and I would get detention or suspension. so who wants to explain what happened? '' Mr.Johnson said, breaking the silence in the room. you know what just give me the detention. I hit him and yeah that's it can I go now I said it little irritated. You see, unlike everyone at this school I follow the snitches get stitches rule . Ok thank you for your honesty Mr.Lee but this is going to call for a 2 day suppetion Mr.Johnson said. Whatever man I said, rolling my eyes and starting to get a little angry. Excuse me Mr. Johnson said, his eyes widening. Im just saying that Max walks around here all the time pushing , punching , and shoving people into lockers and every time he gets away clean I said in a calm voice. Well sorry you feel this way but I think your wrong Max is a model student much like you he said. I scoffed and said Im nothing like him. Max let out a suppressed laugh after that I lost it and just went off . I don't get this, how can he walk around and put his hands on people and get away with it while still getting to play in the games but as soon as I hit him one time I get in trouble and now I don't get to play . The principal was a little taken back and so was Max. You see I'm seen as a sweet, nice, caring person and everyone loves me. Teachers would always say Jaylyn you really are a great kid and even seen as a role model by all the teachers' ' . They said that because I play basketball and football, I make all As all year round and maintain a 4.9 GPA. Not to mention I have 5 D1 offers for football and 6 D1 offers for basketball and it's still the beginning of senior year. Well I guess it's not fair that you had one little incident for the rest of the team to suffer so Ill let you off with a warning alright Mr.Lee. He said this because he knows if i dont go to this game then we might not when and this means that if we lose we will no longer be undefeated. Thank you sir and sorry for the outburst i say Max went to say something but the principal gave him a stern look like he might be the one with the suspension. I walked out with a smirk creeping onto my face but it quickly faded when i realized that people were going to be asking about it especially Mason and i didn't need that since tonight was game night for the varsity football team and on gameday I like to stay in the zone but i knew i wasn't going to get around it so i just prepared myself for what was to come as i walked back down the hall the classroom.
