The Weight of Love

Chapter 4

(Continuing immediately from the last part)

You take out fresh chocolate cake and cut off a slice and put it on a plate for her.

She takes a bite of the cake and you see her eyes widen, and she takes another bite.

Once she finished she took a sip of water and said.

"I think this is the best thing you've made"

"Really? " you ask. it's perfect" she replies.

"Thank you so much for the feedback, I think that means I could start selling it" you say.

Tzuyu's Perspective

'Wow that cake was amazing' she thought.

She felt a vibration coming from her pocket, she took out her phone and saw that she had received a message from Jihyo.

The text said that it was time for her to go home already. So she got up and started preparing.

"Thank you so much for the food Y/N, but I have to go already, I had a great time" she said.

"Thank you for coming Elaine, I had a great time with you as well" you say opening the door for her.

She felt touched by these words and started blushing underneath her mask. She stepped out the door and went home.

3rd POV

When Tzuyu arrived home she was a bit more tired than usual. When she entered the dorm and was immediately approached by Jihyo.

"Where were you?" Jihyo asked curiously "Do you know what time it is?"

But before Tzuyu could answer Jihyo interupted saying,

"What's that around your mouth" she said noticing the chocolate around Tzuyu's mouth.

"Oh, it's just chocolate" she says.

"Where did you go?" Jihyo asked skeptically.

"I was at the bakery again" she answered.

"Ohhhh" Jihyo said "You really like him don't you?"

Tzuyu didn't answer but started blushing in the spot.

"You like his food to right?" she added.

"Yeah, they taste so good and I love everything he makes, every time I take a bite I always want more" Tzuyu said.

Jihyo just nodded and as Tzuyu was day dreaming, her eyes drifted to Tzuyu's midsection.

Something seemed a bit different about it.

But she brushed it off as Tzuyu goes to her room.

Tzuyu's Perspective

As she entered her room she started to change into more comfortable clothes.

"Ahhhhh" she exclaimed "I shouldn't wear my shrunken clothes"

She put on some loose clothing, which in fact didn't feel so loose anymore.

She went to the living room where the rest of the girls were and sat down with them.

3rd POV

The rest of the girls have noticed that Tzuyu would keep going to the bakery almost daily and kinda put together that she had a crush on you.

But they've also started noticing other things.

In their time knowing Tzuyu, they've always saw her as someone who took really good care of her body.

She would always watch what she ate and exercised regularly, but ever since she had started going to the bakery that has changed.

She had stopped her daily jog around the neighborhood, she would eat a bit more, and she would come back from the bakery with a lot more pastries or full from eating the pastries.

And since she's been keeping that up for a few weeks now, they could notice some of the after effects.

They noticed that Tzuyu has put on a bit of weight. She looked like herself with the baby fat, but most of the weight went straight to her midsection.

They didn't say anything about it, for they were happy that she had finally taken an interest in someone and she seemed to really like you.

"So Tzuyu, how was your day?" Nayeon asked.

"It was good" Tzuyu said plainly.

"Just good? You looked really happy when you arrived" Sana asked.

"Okay fine, today was great!" Tzuyu said happily.

"Was it because you were with him?" Momo asked teasingly.

"What? No, I don't like him" Tzuyu said defensively.

"You don't have to lie to us anymore, we all know" Jeongyeon said.

Tzuyu looked surprised and saw everyone nodding in agreement.

"Does he know who you are?" Jihyo asked.

"No, I said my name was Elaine"

"So do you plan on telling him"

"I want to, but he might use me for publicity"

"If he really liked you then he wouldn't"

"Okay, I'll confess to him tomorrow and see what happens"
