3rd person POV
Shuichi was waiting on <insert creative name> street, next to the cafe like it said on the letter. He had arrived five minutes early, sense showing up late to a date would have been too embarrassing he decided to show up first. He asked Kyoko if he could get off early, and with the head injury to cover his lie, he managed to do so. Checking his watch, it was basically 8, but nobody had come yet. Shuichi sighed, thinking this was probably just a trick played on him by a friend or a random jerk. He turned to leave, thinking this was a waste of time.
"Wow, you actually showed up! For a detective that was a pretty dumb move!" He turned around in a flash. Standing in the alleyway was nobody other then Kokichi Ouma, drinking what looked like grape panta. However, Shuichi wasn't going to fall for the same trick twice. Now he he a taser and a pair of handcuffs on him.
"What are you doing here?' He asked, stepping into the alley.
"Isn't it obvious? I was the one that asked you out, and I'm surprised you accepted! Does that mean we're dating now Saihara-Chan~"
"Absolutely not." Shuichi said walking closer. A soon as he got the chance he would handcuff Kokichi and turn him in. "You're a criminal, why would I date someone like you?"
The smaller boy looked away and took a sip of his Panta, ignoring the question. Shuichi took this this time to strick, and handcuffed one of Kokichi's wrist, using the other cuff on his own.
"Oh wow, you've caught me! I'm sooo scared~" Kokichi said while a smirked formed on his face. Shuichi knew this smile from anywhere and immediately didn't trust it.
"What are you up to Ouma?" He asked already dialing Kyoko's number.
"Do you really wanna know?" He thought about it for a while, and with hesitation, he shook his head in response. Kokichi smiled, took one last sip of his panta, and grabbed Shuichi's arm pulling him into a passionate kiss. The detectives eyes widened in surprise, his heartbeat picking up speed. He used his other arm to push them away from each other breaking the kiss. They stared at each other, shuichi's face a deep shade of red.
"Did you like it?"
"Did I lik- No, No! I didn't like it! You just kissed me without concent!" Suddenly Kokichi grabbed the taller boys collar, pulling him down to his height.
"Sure, I kissed you without consent, and I'll do it again. I'm a criminal after all, but you can't lie to me Shumai. Your expression when I kissed you gave it away, not to mention you let me kiss your for about a solid 5 seconds. If you really didn't want me to kiss you you would've pushed me away as soon as our lips made contact. So I'll ask again. Did you like the kiss?" They once again stared at each other, as the thought of what to say raced through the other boys mind.
"It wasn't the WORST thing you've done to me, but I won't let it happen aga-"
"Great! Now get this handcuff of me and let's get this date started!" He held up his cuffed wrist to shuichi a goofy but somewhat serious smile on his face. Shuichi stared at him for a moment, not thinking he was serious, but Kokichi just shook his wrist again implying he wanted the handcuffs off.
"W-wait you're serious!? This isn't an actual date you know that right!?"
"Not an actual date? I CANT BELIEVE YOU WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT, YOU'RE SO MEAN!!!" The supreme leader whined dramatically, but not even a minute later he was back to smiling. "I sent you the love letter right? You accepted right? Oh and it would be a SHAME if your boss found out about this situation from a camera I totally don't have set up in this alley, which keep I'm mind I can edit, right?" The other boy looked at him with annoyance, 'He's blackmailing me into a date!' Sighing, he uncuffed both of their wrist.
"It's just a normal date at the cafe, then you'll stop putting up such an annoying fight?" Giggling Kokichi took the detectives hand, dragging him out of the alley and towards the cafe entrance.
"Of course shumai! By the way, you're paying~"
"What have I got myself into..."
