oikawa pov

the four of them went to iwa-chan's house. iwa's mother was very nice and gave them tons of snacks. "hey...arent these the chips you told me that you accidentally threw out?" iwa-chan pointed at a bag. "oops, i guess i didnt throw them." iwa's mother said with a smile. iwa-chan rolled his eyes as we brought all the snack up to his room.

"ok so i got spare futons in the store room. i'll be right back." iwa-chan said after dumping all the snacks on his table. i dropped the snacks i brought up too and flopped onto his bed, hugging the pillow that i usually laid on. "isnt this iwaizumi's bed? its rude to sleep on other people's bed you know." mattsun said as he opened a can of pringles. oikawa didnt bother to reply him.

"here." iwa-chan siad as he threw futons at the three. oikawa's futon bounced off his butt. "iwa-channnn, why cant we just share the bed like usual?" oikawa whined. iwa-chan blushed as makki exclaimed,"OH MY GOD, DID YOU GUYS DO IT?" "what? NO. shittykawa you shouldnt have said it like that!" oikawa shrugged, "there is no other way to put it."

they ended up watching moives until 2a.m. mattsun and makki slowly slid off the bed and onto their futons. oikawa was about to fall asleep when iwa-chan called his name...

iwaizumi pov

[ 2.30a.m. ]

iwa was so tired that after he shut down his laptop they were using to watch movies, he almost fell into slumber. key word, almost. there was something at the back of his mind keeping him awake. "oikawa..."

as soon as oikawa heard his name, he turned around. "yes, iwa-chan?"

"what are your nightmares about?" even in the dim light, provided by the moon, iwa saw oikawa's eyes widened. "iwa-chan... now is not the time to talk about it..." he gave a weak excuse and turned around. he was stopped by iwa who put a hand on his shoulder. "no oikawa, you have been having nightmares since you moved here. its been 8 years, its time to talk about this."

oikawa let out a shaky breath and whispered, "no...you would hate me for it..." "oikawa look at me." oikawa slowly brought his eyes up to look into iwaizumi's green ones. "i wont hate you, ever." as iwa said the word 'ever'. he brought oikawa's face closer to his.

"o-ok, here it goes..." oikawa stammered as he begun. he started from the start. how his dad died. how his mum became so stressed. how they had to move because they coudnt afford their old place. how oikawa blamed himself. how he had nightmares every night. how he could only sleep when he was beside his 'iwa-chan'. iwa apparently made him feel safe. oikawa ended his big monologue of his life with, "if only i wasnt such a brat, then my dad would have survived. im the cause of my dad's death. im the cause of my mum's stress. everything would be better without me."

hearing that, iwa cupped oikawa's face and glared at him. "dont say that. you made my life ten times better. your mum still loves you, every child would give their parents stress. your dad is in a better place and im sure he doesnt blame you. your mum still needs you. mattsun and makki still need you. i still need you." before oikawa could say anything else, iwa pushed his lips against oikawa's lips. oikawa's lips felt soft on iwa's chapped ones. after a few seconds, iwa let go off oikawa.

"im sorry, i shouldnt hav-" before iwa could even finish his sentence, oikawa pressed his lips against iwa again.

no pov

[ 3.30a.m. ]

iwaizumi was shocked that oikawa kissed him back. he closed his eyes, enjoying the kiss. oikawa was desperate to feel iwazumi again, that was why he kissed him. they stayed like that, iwazumi's hands on oikawa's face, for a few moments. even though this was more than he could ever imagine him and oikawa doing, he wanted more. he licked oikawa's bottom lip, asking for entrance. surprisingly, oikawa gave him, letting iwaizumi explore every spot of his mouth. iwaizumi pulled oikawa on top of him.

it went on for about 2 minutes before they had to come up for air. "oikawa, will you be my boyfriend?" iwaizumi nervously asked. oikawa giggled at how iwaizumi was so nervous, it was cute. obviously oikawa said yes and they fell asleep holding each other. now they knew how much they loved each other.

what they didnt know was there was two creeps below listening to their conversation and recording it. makki smirked at mattsun, knowing that they would both tease iwaizumi and oikawa endlessly.

[ 11.00a.m. ]

makki and mattsun were rolling up their futons while iwaizumi was scrolling through his phone and oikawa watching some alien document on the television in iwaizumi's room. makki locked eyes with mattsun. it was time.

makki cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the two love birds. he presented the audio clip. it recorded iwaizumi's voice and oikawa's voice clearly. meaning they captured thier love confession too. they both blushed.

"if we didnt record it, how long till we would know about you two?" mattsun teased. iwaizumi rolled his eyes, "we just got together last night, you guys didnt miss anything." after endless questions by the two of them, they finally got of the topic and decided to talk about their plans today.

they decided to all go hang out at the nearby cafe for lunch then the park as a casual hangout. as they were chatting, iwaizumi caught sight of oikawa. iwaizumi smiled and thought, who knew everything could start from nightmares and windows?
