Sorry, this is short but I wanted you as readers to start to see the other side of Aria as she faces her past. I want to get into details about her past but I warn you, it will include topics such as rape, torture, kidnapping, self-harm, PTSD, you get the point. If you don't want to read that, you can skip past the next few chapters but it will come up at random parts of the book too.
Thanks to Sof, one of my best friends, which gave me some ideas for this chapter and up and coming ones! Go check out some of her books, they are really good!

Thanks for reading :)

POV: Arya Boytsov

"Where the fuck are you?!" Dante screamed in my ear after I finally answered his calls.

"All you need to know is I'm ok and I'll be gone for a few days," I replied calmly. I just needed him to stop irritating me so I could get on with this. I heard one of my enemies was in town so I thought why not finally take them down?

"A few days! You can't just leave like that!" I wasn't fully listening to what he said and I didn't care either. Nothing was stopping me from getting my revenge. This man has done so many things to me that I'm surprised my family didn't declare war. Actually, no I'm not. My father told me he missed beating me. He couldn't care less what they did to me.

"Oh and also, I might be bringing back a little... souvenir. Whether it's dead or alive will depend on how much he satisfies my need to hear his screams, bye-bye now!" And with that, I ended the call and got straight to work.

I already had him tracked down and that little fucker didn't even have more than two guards at his hotel door. I planned to take out the guards quickly and knock on the door politely. He'll answer assuming it's his guards and then, boom! I attack him and knock him out so I can take him back to my torture chamber. I bought a dodgy building that is going to work perfectly.

As I stepped out of the elevator to walk down to his door, I prepared to sneak up on the guards, they would know who I was if they saw me, I'm kind of famous in their mafia, not because of my skills or because of fear, unfortunately. I turned the corner and instantly snapped one of the guard's necks, causing him to fall dead on the floor. The other guard looked at me and upon realising who I was, tried to call for backup. I guess that didn't work out for him because I just shot him straight in the face. Now, this seems as if the guards shot someone and are reporting to their boss, smart, aren't I?

I knocked on the door and prepared to smash my gun into his face to knock him out. I could hear shuffling and him making his way to the door. As he opened the door, I saw the utter shock on his face.

"Surprise motherfucka!" I screamed before hitting him with my gun and saw him fall with that look still plastered on his face. Oh, how I love making people regret their life choices.

POV: Dante Stromson

"Bye-bye, now!" She hung up on me. She fucking hung up on me. She left without saying anything after her coward father raided my ball. I didn't want to admit it but I cared for her enough to not want her to get hurt or kidnapped.

"What'd she say, man?" Xan asked as he gulped down all of his whiskey in one go. I sighed.

"She's ok but she's going to be gone a few days," I stood up and started pacing around the room, the call was too short to track and I had no idea where she was. I could send out people to look for her around the city but I don't even know if she is in the city.

"At least she's ok, now what do you think about this chick?" He turned his phone to face me and showed a picture of a naked girl in a mirror.

"She's ok I guess, but next time give me a warning before you show me her tits and all," I didn't necessarily want to see that now that I have a fiance. I don't mind but I've stopped sleeping around with a bunch of girls now so I don't want to see that without a warning at least.

"Damn! she is getting to you, good for you," He teased me and pushed my shoulder a little as I sat on the edge of my desk now, in front of him.

"Also, she said she might bring back a souvenir or something. She said and I quote, 'Whether it's dead or alive will depend on how much he satisfies my need to hear his screams' What is she even doing?!" I used my arms to make quotation marks in the air as I quoted her.

"Woah, she ditched you to go kill someone?" He started laughing. "Damn, by sounds of it, she probably wanted revenge on him, poor thing. I mean, have you heard what she has done to some prisoners? You should consider putting her up to some of our toughest prisoners when we need info," Xan was rambling as he always does. I've gotten used to it by now but it can still get annoying.

"You're doing it again... now go annoy that chick you've been texting. I have work," I pulled him up from his seat and pushed him out the door to my office. I waved and gave my best obvious fake smile while he did the same.

"Toodles, Fluffy pants!" I rolled my eyes at his nickname for me. I hated when he called me that; it brought back embarrassing memories I hope he never shares. I heard his footsteps treading away from my office as I continued looking over paperwork and emails.
