When I made it to my dads house Lorie was finishing Tiona's hair. She already did Sydney's. I came to drop Tiona and Sydney off some money. Last night she was talking about how she was saving up to get the outfit she wanted for after graduation I told her I was stopping by today but she didn't know for what.
I gave Tiona a envelope and Sydney a envelope. "Ooh it's heavy.", Sydney smiled. We laughed. They opened it revealing 3,000 each.
"Oh we shoppin' shoppin'.", Tiona cheesed. "We'll be back." They left hugging me as they walked past.
"Them girls are something else.", Lorie said as she started cleaning up hair stuff. "How you been?", she asked looking at me.

"I'm sorry.", we said at the same time. We looked at each other confused. "Why you sorry?", I asked.
"For being a bad friend before you left. You did seem off but I was too worried about my baby to pay attention to the fact that you were dealing with some things. Why you sorry?"

"What ring?", she asked cutting me off. I chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck.
"I had got you this promise ring I was gonna give it to you at my graduation party but after we talked I didn't want to, I thought we would be better off. I think it's upstairs still, it should be. In my old room." I went to my old room and she followed me.
"If I knew yo' shit was still here I would've been came and slept in the comfortable ass bed." She laid on my bed as I grabbed the ring.
"Still here.", I said opening the box.
"Oh my God D this is beautiful.", Lorie said looking at it. "You got this for me?" I nodded. "And never gave it to me or took it back?" I shook my head. We just looked at each other. We both looked away at the same time. "How long you been with Savanah?"
"I been with Diana for a lil over a year."
"And y'all engaged?"
"How long you been with dude?", I asked.
"Same.", she said smiling.
"Where's your ring?" She laughed.
"We not even like that. Ion take Tyson serious serious. I think we kinda for the moment."
"For the moment but over a year?", I questioned. She chuckled and looked around.
"Damn nigga." She grabbed something from by the tv. A half bottle of Hennessy. "Take a shot." She smiled bringing it to me.
"I haven't drank in like 2 years."
"I haven't drank since I had A'Mour. Just one.", she said.
"Okay.", I opened it then took one. "Whew!"

One shot turned into three. We're both borderline drunk talking about the old times. "Low key we made some good ass memories in this room.", I said looking around.
