I was jolted awake by a searing slap to the chest followed by frantic shaking.

A small hand wrapped around my bicep but I was too tired to even register it until I tried to open my eyes.

"Shit" I winced, shutting my eyes from the blinded light that filtering in through the white  curtains.

I sat up in the bed, instantly being hit with a pounding head. I opened one eye, finding myself in a unfamiliar room. The room was relatively big, minimal decorations. I wasn't at home or in the football house. A distinct floral smell filled the air almost making me choke.

"You have to leave. Now." Someone panicked.
A girl. She bent down, collecting my clothes that led in a trail to the bed.

Stupidly, I put out a hand silencing her. I swung my legs over the bed, they were heavy.

What the fuck happened last night?

"My boyfriend is going to be here any minute. He's going to kill you if he finds you here."

"Boyfriend? You never said you had a fucking boyfriend." I opened my eyes, blinking away the burning sensation.

"You never asked." The blonde girl sassed.

"Fucking hell." I muttered, this entire situation was just my fucking luck and now I had to sit through my automechanic exam—

I jumped.

Panic ripped through me from the realisation.

"What time is it?" I stood up, ignoring the shoot pain in my left leg. I looked up expectingly at blondie who just smiled and swayed on her feet.

"What?" She asked, smiling obliviously in a daze.

"The fucking time. What's the time?" I tapped the outside of my wrist with one finger, hoping she'd catch the hint.

When she didn't, I grabbed the clothes she had bunched up in her arms pulling them apart to find my trousers. I didn't have time to waste.

My trousers. They were inside out.

"Fuck" I cursed, fishing out my phone from whatever awkward position it was in, in the pocket of my trousers.

I pulled it out, turning on only to be met with a black screen. "You've got to be fucking kidding me." I jabbed at the on button hoping that by some miracle, it still had just a little juice left.

Impatiently, I pulled my trousers on. "What's the time blondie?" I couldn't even remember her name.

Her face scrunched up at the nickname as I pulled my shirt over my head. In the brief second I didn't have to look at her face, I let out a peaceful breath.

"My name is Vanessa."

I didn't even spare her a glance as I put my runners on quickly tying the laces. My body swayed, the blood rushing to my brain. I froze, gripping the sheets for steadiness. My head went static. I could feel myself on the verge of passing out.
