We finally arrived home.
"Sunghoon, where's Eomma and Appa?"
"Oh I forgot to tell you! They decided to treat themselves to a vacation in Hawaii. So, they won't be home for 3 weeks."
"I see, well I'm going to my room now. Goodnight! Love you!"
"Goodnight! Love you too!" He ruffled my hair, before going into his own room.
I couldn't sleep. It was currently 12am. The scene kept replaying in my mind, him saying,
"Just friends."
I don't why it hurt me so much, or why I kept thinking about it. Did I like him? Maybe. Was he embarrassed about going on a "date" with me? I looked at my phone and was shocked to see how many text messages and missed calls I had. Shit- I forgot to tell Jungwon that I was getting a ride from my brother.

Jungwon: MINJU! Where are you?
Jungwon: Please respond, I'm getting worried
Jungwon: Did I do something wrong? If I did, please tell mee
Jungwon: Why did you leave all of the sudden?
Jungwon: Please respond Minju. I'm really worried. You're not picking up your phone....
Me: I'm so sorry for worrying you!
Me: I forgot to text you that my brother picked me up. And no, you didn't do anything wrong.
Jungwon: Phew- you're safe.
Jungwon: Why didn't you tell me that your brother was gonna pick you up?
Jungwon: I thought I was? 🥺
Me: Aww Wonnie....I didn't want to bother your conversation with your special wittle friend~
Jungwon: What special friend?
Me: I forgot her name..... it started with an A?
Jungwon: Oh.... Aera?
Me: Yeah, well anyways... Goodnight, I'm going to sleep now.
Jungwon: GoodNight! Sweet dreams~
I looked at the last message he sent, and chuckled. A tint of pink went over my cheeks, I felt it. I was still curious about Aera though......
