Hisoka cocked a brow and smiled, "which little birdie told you I was a Spider? ♠"

"If I told you, you'd shoot my robin out of the sky", you returned mockingly. "Name your price in dollars Magician", you nodded to him. You weren't giving this devil any loopholes to get to your soul when you couldn't immediately verify the validity of his information. Money was the least of your worries anyway, you had more than you knew what to do with. That went for your siblings also. To them working was just a cover of normalcy.

"I propose a trade in information", he relaxed his shoulders, "you see I want to kill Chrollo. ♥"

"Ouu brazen", you are not surprised, "but should you be saying that so openly?"

He waved you off, "I want to kill him but if I do it when he's powerless that's boring."

"Could you be any more predictable?" You deadpan.

"That's where you come in." He chuckled at your mildly alarmed and suspicious expression. "Tell me what I need to know about the user and I'll tell you about Chrollo's ability", he offered. You narrowed your eyes. "You may not even need the information though, I do intend to fight him quickly." He could barely hold in his shiver of excitement.

"Do you think I'm stupid", the venom in your voice drew his eyes to your burning glare. "Survival is imbedded in human nature. I'm not very different. Why would I tell you and you know we're being watched?"

"I'll take care of the Phantom Troupe and their leader quickly."

"How very reassuring", you rolled your eyes, "but I don't buy it Magician. Who's to say you won't kill me before you go after them or maybe come back to finish me when your met with boredom? This was a waste of time", you turned away from him with a sigh. "You're untrustworthy and I'd be suicidal to trust you."

"Ah but think of your siblings", he flexes an ace, "that's quite the expression ♦"

"I wish you would", your lips quirked up your bloodlust exploded black. The grass under your feet withered, "lay a hand on my sisters you get murked."

His smile distorted his features as he revelled in your obsidian glare. He was already twitching in excitement because of those now dark eyes, think of the power you bridled. He covered his face with his free hand, the hand with the card wrapping around his torso. His bloodlust could not be contained the deep pink and black dancing wildly.

"Don't look at me with those eyes", his voice quivered as he restrained himself.

You took a deep breath and calmed the protective heart that raged inside, you would never deny your siblings were your greatest weakness. Although immortal there's always a small fear in the back of your mind, "if my sisters are gone I'll be alone again." You shook your head and cleared your thoughts of the dark continent. It's not the time to be thinking of the past.

With some disappointment, he watched you calm but took a breath as well. He must remember patience. "Oh ♠", You looked back to him, "you're friends with Gon right?" Hisoka recalled before he spoke with you in the glades Gon and Killua hanged around You and your siblings.

Your ears perked up, "oh right they know him." You nodded to him, "yea. Right now they're under my tutelage."

The immediate excitement in his features made you feel as if you boys became bargaining chips. Although disgusted your face remained neutral. You hated his type the most, scheming and near impossible to read. You watched him release a shuddering breath and waited to know the thoughts behind those glinting eyes. For Hisoka, he couldn't express how perfect You was to him at the moment. Not only did you have a key to Chrollo and would no doubt be a thrilling match in the ring you's also watering his fruits. The ace twirled between his fingers as he became intoxicated with anticipation. If they evolve to be even a fraction of You's power he may not have to wait much longer to kill Gon. He let out a shuddering breath.

You just blinked at the image in front of you extremely uncomfortable, "what the hell was that!?" This man should be arrested for public indecency! You shook your head and turned away, screw this.

"I'll tell you one thing", he hummed, "choose carefully."

You are disgusted by how refreshed he looked but answered anyway, "Chrollo." You were confident you could take all the Spiders at once and win.

"He steals the nen of others."

"I guess the great thief is more than a fitting title", You tilted your head. You may have been nonchalant but Hisoka noticed the very subtle twitch in your expression.

There was a soft beeping, both You and Hisoka looked to the pager. Even he forgot he had a match right now. "We'll speak again my favourite little toy ♥."

You gave a noncommittal grunt as you turned away. You would be at a greater disadvantage than you originally thought, should Chrollo be a part of the equation. You turned towards home, your thoughts scrambled. The only good note is that an enemy so formidable is currently out of commission. You reckon someone like that could even give the Zoldyck a run for their money. You gave a frustrated cry and pulled at your hair. Losing your nen would be a harsh blow on anyone but they'd live, you can't say the same for herself. The Phoenix, a body of nen independent of your own nen and power, shares your consciousness and has helped keep you alive for many centuries. For the second time in your long life, you're faced with the threat of a possibly painful, permanent, irreversible death. This game of tag worked in your favour, the only real threat is already neutralized. The Spiders couldn't do anything to convince you to help their boss, you are as good as dead if you help them anyway. And if push comes to shove the Phantom troupe may cease to exist by your hands.
