[Chapter 8] One Day

(Funny thing, the name of this chapter is based off a song from a band called Lovejoy, "One Day" lol- Wilbur Soot is in the band so you know its good B), but legit the band is really good :>)

It started.. talking to me.. things changed about me. The blood vines covers one of my eyes, blurring my vision, though it doesn't matter much. Why do I feel so weird? 

Welp- at my first meeting with the rest of the Eggpire.. kinda scared- the others are looking at me suspiciously- 

Antfrost spoke up, "Are you sure about this Bad? Letting someone who was against the Egg join? Remember what happened with Puffy?"

"Ant, don't worry, I'm sure that he isn't against the Egg. Also, we didn't know that Puffy was against the Egg back then."

Ponk private messages me in the chat saying, "D𝙹 ||𝙹⚍ ⚍リ↸ᒷ∷ᓭℸ ̣ ᔑリ↸ ∴⍑ᔑℸ ̣ ╎'ᒲ ᓭᔑ||╎リ⊣?"

Huh..?

I start to type out something then hear the egg speak in my mind.

Y𝙹⚍ ᓵᔑリ ⚍リ↸ᒷ∷ᓭℸ ̣ ᔑリ↸ ᒲᒷ, ||ᒷᓭ?

I respond back, "Yᒷᓭ. I ↸𝙹, i ↸𝙹リ'ℸ ̣ ⚍リ↸ᒷ∷ᓭℸ ̣ ᔑリ↸ ⍑𝙹∴ i ᓵᔑリ ᓭ!¡ᒷᔑꖌ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎ᓭ ᔑꖎꖎ 𝙹⎓ ᔑ ᓭ⚍↸↸ᒷリ, ʖ⚍ℸ ̣ ||ᒷᓭ, i ᓵᔑリ ⚍リ↸ᒷ∷ᓭℸ ̣ ᔑリ↸ ||𝙹⚍."

Shoot- I realize that I said it out loud and look up to see the rest of the Eggpire staring at me in surprise.

Ponk asks, "When did Ranboo learn how to speak the Egg's language?"

Hannah adds to Ponk's question by saying, "When I joined the Eggpire I'm pretty sure I didn't learn this- what is he saying?"

Everyone starts talking at once, while Bad stares at me, seemingly examining me.

I then see a private message from Bad saying, "D╎↸ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ e⊣⊣ ℸ ̣ ᒷᔑᓵ⍑ ||𝙹⚍?"

I private message back saying, "I ↸𝙹リ'ℸ ̣ ∷ᒷᒲᒷᒲʖᒷ∷."

Bad holds up a sign telling everyone to be quiet, then says "Well. This is definitely interesting. But we should get back to what I was discussing."

After the meeting, Bad approaches me and asks, "Ranboo, what has the Egg been telling you?"

I lie, and say, "I don't remember."

"Interesting. Well, go get some rest Ranboo, see you tommorow."

"Bye!"

After he leaves, my head feels light, and I collapse.
