I walked out to the parking lot with Crystal, calling my mom. Why isn't she answering? She's probably busy.. As usual. I tried calling her again, she answered this time. And of course she's gonna be late to pick me up. Ugh, I can't stand her job. She never has time for me anymore.. "Hey uh Crystal, do you mind giving me a ride home?" I asked guiltily. "My mom's gonna be late." "Yea, no problem!" Ah, I could get used to her. She asked me if I wanted to go by her house for a little bit. My mom won't be home for a few hours or so, so I guess I could. We hopped in her Mercedes. I'm guessing she's the rich type. She doesn't act like it though, she doesn't seem snobby like they usually do. On the way there, she babbled on and on about her family, and made jokes about our teachers, then out of no where she mentioned Brock. That hit me.. Brock, even his name is dreamy. "Ya know, We used to have something. I seen the way he looked at you today, I think he might just like you.." She sounded so worked up about it, so I acted like it doesn't matter. "I didn't notice.." I lied, "maybe. But I don't really care if he does I don't guess." She got quiet until we pulled up at her house. It's huge! But I guess I expected this considering her car and all.. When we started getting out of her car , I went to shut the door and i seen him. The guy from class. He was just standing across the street gawking at me. I don't understand what his problem is.. Did he follow me home? "Crystal.. Who's that guy? Right there, across the road..?" I asked impatiently. But when she turned around to look, he was gone. Where does he keep going? It's so frustrating. "Nevermind. Let's go inside.."
