Circumstances (UNDER CONSTRUCTION 🚧)

Chapter 2

I sit in the great hall as hermione speaks to me about something random. I tune her out lost in my own thoughts. "Ange are you listening" Hermione Huffs at my lack of attention. "Oh sorry hermione carry on" I say in a low tone voice. "Right anyways like I was saying about snape and how he gave me a-" hermione voice seemed to fade as I got lost in my own mind once more.

"And there she goes again" hermione snaps turning away. "Sorry mione I just have a lot on my mind.." I sigh.

"Hey it's alright we can always talk later" mione puts a comforting hand on my shoulder. I nod as she stands up walking out of the great hall along with Harry and Ron.

I look over to see Neville, Dean, and Seamus talking about something. Usually I would try and jump into the conversation but something about Neville made me feel flustered and nervous.

So I just stood up and walked out.

I sit down opening my herbology book. I absolutely suck at herbology it's my worst class who even cares about stupid plants anyways.

I sigh while taking notes.

I was studying for about 30 minutes before 3 boys walked in. Once again Dean Seamus and Neville.

"Hey ange" Dean says taking a seat in front of me neville and Seamus following. "Hey Dean come here to watch me study" I chuckle.

"No you just looked lonely" he teases back.

"Y-you like herbology? I love herbology" Neville looks at my book then back at me.

"Ange hate-" Seamus starts but I cut him off quickly.

"Yup I love herbology! It's my favorite class honestly" it was a lie I know but I just wanted Neville to like me so we can be friends.

Dean and Seamus both look at me completely caught off guard and confused.

"But ange you told me-" I kick Seamus under the table urging him to shut the fuck up.

I give him a stern looks and he nods holding his leg in pain.

"Well maybe some time we can go to the greenhouse and check out the plants. I'd love to show you some" Neville shoots me a kind smile. "I'd like that Neville" I smile back at him my face heating up.

I think Dean and Seamus caught onto me because I heard them snickering together whispering about something.

I roll my eyes as Neville looks at them confused. "Great we can meet tomorrow does 2pm sound okay?" He asked with a wide grin.

"Yup that's perfect!" I accept.

"I actually have to go though I have some homework to do but I'll see you tomorrow neville" I stand up walking out of the library.

Internally I was freaking out! I knew nothing about herbology and I needed to know everything about it by tomorrow I would ask hermione to help but she would ask why. She knows I hate herbology so I would have to tell her I was hanging with Neville tomorrow and she would tease me about it.

I opened the herbology book I had in my arms and immediately started reading it.

I have been reading this book for an hour and let me tell you I am in PAIN. This was so incredibly boring but I knew I had to do what I had to do. I feel like I had enough information to get threw maybe about 1 or 2 hours of talking about plants with Neville.

I needed to pick an outfit something casual but not boring.

I went over to my wardrobe looking through everything completely destroying the dorm with all my clothes.

Finally I put together a simple but cute outfit. It was the middle of October so I had to pick something warm. A green long sleeved shirt with baggy jeans white knee high socks and black high top converses. Something simple but it's cute enough.

I already completely forgot about almost everything I read in my book about plants. I was so frustrated on why I couldn't remember anything.

I spent the rest of the night reading about plants until I was so tired I couldn't even keep my eyes open. I ended up falling asleep my face laying on the open book.
